True Paulbots are just as bad as Obamabots.

What you don’t understand is that in the current mess we find ourselves in we could collapse politically.

Ron Paul despises the US Constitution, which is why he tries to undermine it with his anti-Constitutional "states' rights" rhetoric.

He is simply a less-intelligent, more-dishonest follower of the more strident Anti-Federalist opponents of our Constitution.

The Soviet Union collapsed because none were permitted to profit.

The United States will collapse because none are permitted to fail.

Where is the actual Paul quote? Link leads to a blog which leads nowhere.

Agreed. The trashing on RP on this site is ridiculous when it turns to econ issues.

We simply can’ty sustain the nation as is.

He seems determined to undermine his son’s electoral success.

We are already shot through the heart, we just did not feel the hit.

The walking dead stumble on quite a while sometimes.

Ewwwww! I can almost feel the spittle from this guys foaming mouth flinging through my monitor.

Now, I'm not a Ron Paul fan, but he's useful from time to time. Certainly not worthy of the type of snarling, foaming-mouth rabidity that the author is displaying in his rant. I recommend a nice merlot or two while listening to Bach's "Sheep may safely graze."..After that, one can rationally discuss the problems with Paul's political positions without appearing to be insane.....

Paulbots are awful. These people don’t confine themselves to being annoying on political websites either. You have to weed through Paulbot crap pretty much everywhere - gaming forums, sports boards, etc. They are a bit like Larouchies - perhaps not as crazy, but equally obnoxious.

Ron Paul is crazy, but this writer is atrocious. Starts with “And,” ends with elipses, and includes run-on sentence after run-on sentence. Not to mention that he never develops a coherent argument. Take a writing course!

OK. Dr. Ron Paul!

Not that I'd trust him as such...

There are major flaws in Libertarian philosophy.

They are not particularly patriotic.

They are also pretty much anti-military, except for a sort of Switzerland model. Which has worked out fairly nicely for Switzerland, but it would have been nice to have their help through a few world wars. Including this one.

It’s easy to be ‘defense only’ as long as a big boy like America is handling the situations with its wealth and its blood.

Then there are the social issues, which make the Democrats look rather prudish at times. At least Mr. Paul is pro-life, as he recognizes the unborn human being as human. So a Libertarian can be consistently pro-life, if he acknowledges the humanity of the unborn.

How about quoting what Ron Paul said? Preferably in context.

Paul says that, and then devotes his life to promoting a pro-abortion libertarian agenda, and a pro-abortion party.

The libertarian goal is an America where abortion is totally unrestrained or limited.
