In a sign that does not bode well for the GOP Establishment in the aftermath of the election -- and possibly before it -- the National Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee (NRSC) is said to be deliberately undercutting the Senate campaign of Christine O'Donnell in Delaware.

When Sean Hannity asked O'Donnell herself about this on his Thursday radio show she was frank, saying the NRSC was not being a player in her campaign. She specifically cited support from the Republican National Committee and Senators Jim DeMint (SC) and Lamar Alexander (TN) as a contrast.

It sure sounds like deliberate NRSC sabotage of a Tea Party favorite.

Everyone remember that when we win this November that is ther START,not the end of what must be done.

Cornyn and the other RINOS need to understand that they are next to be tossed off of the gravy train.

>>> It sure sounds like deliberate NRSC sabotage of a Tea Party favorite.

Triage is not sabotage. This election cycle most examples are on the democrat side as they cut off the cash spigot for hopeless cases and move the money to races that maybe can be saved.

There have been several threads gloating as the announcements are made of dem candidates cut loose to sink or swim. But in this case the republicans have a terminal patient as well.

PERHAPS if they break the budget shoveling cash into Delaware it may pull her up some, but at what sacrifice elsewhere. And even then a win is doubtful. The money can be more effectively spent in other races.

I hope that a credible conservative candidate can be persuaded to run against Cornyn the next time he comes up for election. He takes conservative positions in surveys, but he is one of the elitists, the type that Codevilla described in his American Spectator article. And here he is undercutting a conservative candidate because she had the nerve to beat another one of their elitists in the primary.

O’Donnell may not be the best Senate candidate who ever ran for the office, but she is the best one running in Delaware in this election cycle, and the Republicans should support her.

The ONLY reason Dumbo and Biteme are showing up in Del to campaign for Coons is so they can look like winners. If she is in deed 20 points down and it looks like a win. It will be 20 minutes after Coons win they’ll be beating their chests and saying “see we helped”.
Dumbo’s appearances have been catastrophic for rats going all the way back to NJ and VA...

from the article:

"One source says the NRSC is sitting on $6 million in reserves for Marco Rubio -- whose campaign is far out in front of the Bobby Kennedy Jr.-endorsed Charlie Crist -- when the money could easily be used for Delaware independent expenditures defining O'Donnell opponent Chris Coons."

Obviously, you missed that part or didn't read it.

As for the Florida cash:

Confident of keeping a seat, Senate Republicans are canceling $4 million in TV ads for Florida’s Marco Rubio to put more money toward winning a trio of Democratic-held seats — in California, Pennsylvania and Illinois — where polls show races tightening.

The moves are just the latest in a constantly shifting battleground as Republicans seek to take advantage of a political tail wind by broadening their footprint. Democrats are narrowing their focus to places they must win to keep their Senate and House majorities.

The pubbies said they are moving that money to IL, AK, WA and PA. In each state the pubbie is close enough to win.

I'm not defending the pubbies and I've donated to Christine O, but if the internal polls show 19% difference, then maybe it's time to put the money somewhere else.
