We get our scripts from that plant - the last year their service has been gradually slower and slower. Yesterday we got a script from them - the ‘child-proof’ cap was off the bottle and the pills were in the bag. I’m sure the Union is way more careful with the orders now that they’re being ‘let go’. I am looking forward to the convenience of going to a local pharmacy next year. At least I can yell at them in person when they screw up.
OK, If my team wins one because of a bad call, I’m still happy we won, but the Business wanted 8.8 million in concessions and the union ?only? would agree to 8 million?
I have no love for the SEIU but the union agreed to 90% of their request... Isn’t it usually the other way around??
That being said, The People still scored on this one, and unions lost.
A lot of us have been saying that for 50 years.
I suspect the company was looking to end its relationship with this bunch and it any excuse they found was going to be enough.
And you really can't blame them considering.
