Pundit Charges Businesses Are Sabotaging the President
A Semi-News/Semi-Satire from AzConservative ^ | 16 October 2010 | John Semmens

Posted on 10/17/2010 12:18:01 PM PDT by John Semmens

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews accused American businesses of “sabotaging President Obama and his program by selfishly placing profit ahead of the national interest.”

“The continued refusal of firms to hire is prolonging the recession and hurting the President’s Party in the upcoming election,” Matthews contended. “When we all should be pulling together to help President Obama, businesses are insisting that decreased sales revenue and negative net earnings make adding personnel too risky. Even worse, many of these businesses are now contributing money to help elect people who oppose the President. At the risk of appearing overly strident, I’d say this looks like treason to me.”

Matthews urged that “the President should do everything in his power to crack down on those who aim to thwart him. Even if Republicans do take control of Congress, President Obama still has weapons he can use. The IRS still answers to him. Let’s see how these businesses like being audited. Or he can issue Executive Orders shutting down whole business sectors if they are insufficiently cooperative. And there’s lawsuits. If Attorney General Holder can sue the State of Arizona he can just as easily sue any business enemies of the President.”

In related news, Presidential Advisor David Axelrod taunted the Chamber of Commerce for failure to disclose the names of those donating to its campaign against the President’s program. “What, are they afraid we’ll do something to hurt those donors?” Axelrod jeered. “Only a wimp hides behind a claim of confidentiality. The American people deserve to know all the facts about those who oppose the government. If they won’t give this information up voluntarily, well, we have ways of encouraging them to do so.”

The complete in-the-bag-for-the-Dems nature of the MSM Commentariat is just on full display here for anyone with half a clue. Unfortunately, too much of the U.S. is without a clue.

Hissy Chrissy obviously knows nothing of America. He’s dabbling in Marxism and knows nothing about it.

You’re like a prophecy machine. You write satire one week and the next week it happens in reality. Watch for this or similar before the elections.

Just try to ignore the clowns at MSNBC. They’re just playing to a smaller and smaller band of zealots. And zealots can only be appealed to from a position of inflammatory bullshit. Those idiots are simply trying to overcome anonymity, hence their irrational bombast.

We really need a more conspicuous way to identify satire. I was practically to the last sentence before it occurred to me it may not be a straight story. Or maybe it would help if Dems and Libs would quit behaving as parodies of themselves.

Sadly, I almost fell for this. Because it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if chrissy did say this. Especially since his bosses apparently don’t care about profit.

The real scandal is that business (and espeically Wall Street) elected Obama in the first place. Executives who should have known better -- who had Obama's 25-year record of left-wing thinking and doing squarely in front of them --still allowed themselves a little tantrum because they didn't see McCain or Palin as sufficiently intellectual, and threw their support behind Obama. McCain and Palin were able to overcome this by Labor Day, but then the markets collapsed, putting Obama on top. Not saying that Wall Street allowed the collapse to help Obama -- blood is thicker than water -- but nevertheless it was a direct connection between action and consequence.

Dude. I have been reading all of your postings and none of what you write is satire at all. It always seems to happen!

Matthews seems to have forgotten the effort Democrats made to derail Nixon's nomination of Haynesworth and Carswell to the Supreme Court.

For the most part they did it because they could ~ not because they cared.

That's going to happen to Obama too. He's going to be pushed out of the public's eye simply because it's possible to do that.

People like this are only defended by folks who would imagine Senator Roman Hsruska was correct with his comment, cited in the Congressional Record, that even the mediocre are “entitled to a little representation.”

Chrissy regularly refers to this case and Hruska's statement ~ one of his staples in fact.

>>Even if Republicans do take control of Congress, President Obama still has weapons he can use.<<

We can make fun of Chris Matthews and probably should but that mind set is scary. It’s indicative of the totalitarian mindset of the scum we have in power in this country today. The paragraph that contained that sentence above should tell every American how the left thinks and how engrained it is in too many of American citizens. Comments like that should strike fear in the heart of all freedom loving people.
