Angela Merkel: multikulti doesn’t work

The German Chancellor Angela Merkel rocked the world this weekend declaring that the attempt to build multicultural society in her country was a failure:

"We kidded ourselves a while, we said: ‘They won’t stay, sometime they will be gone’, but this isn’t reality… And of course, the approach [to build] a multicultural [society] and to live side-by-side and to enjoy each other… has failed, utterly failed… the immigrants should learn to speak German."

Why should the folks in the USA care? To answer I will use a quote from the comedian George Lopez:

"Let me tell you about immigration, so you finally hear it from a Latino: we ain’t going nowheres! Nowheres! The stupidest thing to assume is that we are all from Mexico. What part of Mexico are your ancestors from? Los Angeles, bitch…

They don’t know what to do about illegal immigration… President Bush wanted to build a wall. Now they want to dig a ditch and put some alligators in the ditch. You know, MF, put the alligators , in an hour they will be shoes and belts…

You can vote English as an official language but it is not going to work, because we all speak Spanglish. It is too late."

It almost sounds like Merkel was analyzing the Lopez HBO comedy special...

You can’t force people to work, to speak certain way, to worship certain god or to eat apple pie. Not in America.

However, you can stop rewarding those who plot harm to others (stop pretending that the Ground Zero mosque is totally cool idea), disregard the law (stop pretending that illegal immigration is OK), or stay on the government tit for generations (stop pretending that EIC giveaways are tax-cuts).

Then maybe we will all live happily ever after side-by-side.

Countries that don’t have social give-away programs don’t have immigration problems.
