Outstanding! That’s the way to shoot down anti-Americans like her.
Thanks for the ping, Justa. ;-)

Republican Joe Walsh candidate for Illinois 8th Congressional District Yes, the guitar player for The Eagles, a very distinct and all time great musician.
Glad to see him becoming involved in politics, and that he's on our side!

an Illinois crowd spontaneously rising to their feet to say the Pledge of Allegiance, even though the League of Women Voters' Moderator had said they had no plan to do so. A man calls for a point of order to ask the moderator if they are going to say the Pledge, to which the moderator said, "No we are not." As the moderator tried to explain why they would not be saying the Pledge -- the crowd rose to their feet and began saying the Pledge!
LWV -- FAIL! Bag of Hammers ping. Thanks justiceseeker93.
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands -- One nation, Under God, with Liberty, and Justice for all.

(The 2nd Amendment follows right behind the 1st because some people are hard of hearing.)
To: SunkenCiv
Sorry, you left “indivisible” out of the Pledge. Just an oversight, I presume.
To: SunkenCiv
Me too.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
[stands, hand on heart, recites pledge]

Yes, this Kathy Tate-Brandish moderator (that hyphenated surname is commonly a red flag for a leftist woman), who objected to the recitation of the Pledge, also hosted an Obama for president event at her home in Evanston, IL back in 2007! Glenn beck is on this right now...turns out Tate-Brandish is a TEACHER...and people wonder what has happened to our children. That also explains her attitude toward the unruly students...er, audience.
