no worries about this becoming a “bash Mozilla” fest, because Mozilla isn’t Microsoft.
This is the first time they’ve significantly pushed back a release date since the big 1.1X release to fix some serious security flaws.
Having used the FF4 nightly build beta for a few weeks, it is a nice progression that will be well received when finally launched.

I hope they finally get the memory leak problem fixed. For the last year of so, it doesn’t take long before memory usage creeps up to 800 Megs or more. I found a few cases over a gigabyte.

Because Firefox 4.0 will sport essentially a LOT of new features written from the ground up, don't be surprised that the final public release won't arrive until around March 2011. Of course, by then Chrome will be up to Version 8.0 and IE 9.0 will be officially released.
