Is The Media Ready To Go Straight?

With little doubt about the outcome of tomorrow's elections, the speculation turns to what the reaction will be to the historic GOP victories. Will President Barack Obama shift toward the political center? Will all those shiny new Republican lawmakers keep their campaign promises to shrink government and control spending? Will those in the Tea Party movement remain engaged and involved once this battle has been won? All those answers will come in time but what we'll probably find out instantly is will the mainstream media abandon its self-assigned role of liberal cheerleader and return to honest reporting?

The MSM would rather crash and burn than go straight, and that’s what they’re doing. Look at CNN. Once the prime cable news network, now they’re even losing to the left-wing activists at MSNBC. CNN has become a non-stop RAT love fest and conservative bash. Their stars, Anderson Cooper and John King, are totally in the RAT tank. Newsweak was recently sold for a dollar, yet they still print 100% leftist agitprop. Time recently signed anti-American Fareed Zakaria after he helped newsweak crash. Newspapers are dying right and left (no pun intended), yet they continue to be almost totally left. My local paper recently endorsed the straight RAT ticket, and this is in a totally Republican area. They’d rather be dead (and unread)than not red.

Many years after JF Kennedy, someone said "the press had been very kind to him".

I was in Catholic High School when Kennedy was running. Never heard boo about his infidelity.

Then my Dad told me about Bootleg Joe to straighten me out a bit on my UNWARRANTED high regard for this family.

Nope....Didn't vote for Kennedy. Daddy also taught me that the apple doesn't usually drop far from the tree.

I was of course, saddened by his death. And I really thought a lot of JFK's bro, Bobby Kennedy.

The media is Dem....and don't forget it.

I see two possible scenario's happening after tomorrows election:

1. the new more conservative GOP actually follows through and radically cuts spending... causing massive riots among the welfare crowd similar to the austerity riots going on in Europe at the moment.

2. the new more conservative GOP caves and goes back to it's big government, big spending ways... in which case they will lose big in 2012 (at least in the primaries)

will the mainstream media abandon its self-assigned role of liberal cheerleader and return to honest reporting?

Short answer: NO.

They will be ginning up for fearless Zero’s 2012 adventure and doing all in their power to belittle an dsmear the conservative in Congress.

Bet on it.

Will the media go straight?

No matter which way the mainstream media goes, liberalism loses.

Tomorrow's bludgeoning of the media's beloved Democrat party will be seen by Obama as a call to arms. He is not capable of moving to the center like Clinton. His way is to punish and retaliate when confronted with opposition.

A war between what Obama wants for our country and what the people want for our country will ensue. He will be isolated and alone in his battle, but with significant tools at his disposal.

Obama won't have Congress, but he will have a politicized IRS, a politicized Justice Department, an EPA now validated legally to eradicate capitalism through the criminalization of carbon dioxide, executive orders, and the veto pen. And it's this last one that will get him in even deeper trouble than he's in now.

He will resist everything our legislature tries to do. There will be no continuation of the Bush tax cuts. There will be no rollback of Obama Care. Once he vetos legislative attempts to do the people's bidding, the MSM will either turn on him, or go down with him.

Having seen what happened to the Democratic Party for having his back, it's my bet that we will see the MSM go into survival mode and turn on him. Remember, it's liberalism and the Democratic Party that the media is in love with, not any one individual-they turned on Hillary, they'll turn on him. And if not, they go down with him.

Now that a leopard hunt is underway, will the leopard change its spots?

Get real.

The press isn't smart enough to switch sides. These people are border-line functional illiterates who just parrot what they were told in journolista school.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

No matter what they do they can’t undo the damage they’ve caused. Voters will never forget what they’ve done. This is one group for which I wish the worst. They should all be blackballed, ignored, ridiculed, scorned and whatever else can be dreamed up to repay them for their contemptuous behavior.
