Democrat Jerry Brown, apparently in an attempt to count his eggs early, has declared that he will win today against Republican opponent Meg Whitman. Though the polls are close, and voting isn't even at its peak yet, Brown, also known as "Moonbeam," is sure of victory.
The gubernatorial race has been close in California, with Brown leading slightly in the polls. Many expected his campaign to weaken after Brown, or a member of his campaign staff, called his opponent a "whore." However, the controversy was largely ignored by the Main Stream Media.
If indeed he does win, it may be one of the few races that Democrats can be pleased with. Nation-wide, Republicans are expected to make historical gains in both the Senate and House.

Pride cometh before the fall. (I hope)

He probably will win, since CA is heavy public employee union and very liberal in most parts.
That is why it is important that the “Stop the Sacramento Politicians from passing any more laws” initiative passes (Proposition 19)

Bye-Bye Kalifornia! It’s a crying shame that such a beautiful place that used to hold so much promise is now so infested by moonbeam moonbats. I would have thought they’d learned their lesson the last time they elected this idiot, but it doesn’t appear that is the case......

What a smug jerk We should know within 16 hours or so if he had a right to be.
To: therightliveswithus
So when do we start the petition stating that he is in violation of term limits laws?

Unfortunately, he’s not. We didn’t put them in until after he left office the first time, so he’s grandfathered in.

That is why it is important that the Stop the Sacramento Politicians from passing any more laws initiative passes (Proposition 19) LOL, the assumption being that the moonbats in Sacramento will be too stoned to do anything? Now THAT'S a good reason to have voted for 19!

The freeper who posted the law didn't write any language that would acknowledge that fact (whether it's there or not).
Is the grandfather clause actually in the legislation?
