Election Day 2010 in Connecticut could very much be extended a few more extra days because of the Governors race, which is for now, is still too closed to be called. A number of voting districts, including that of the city of Bridgeport, which had to extend to 10PM last night voting in a few polling places. Bridgeport, IMHO, has ALWAYS being a troubling city, which has included issues of political corruption. This voting ballot issue of not having enough ballots is just the latest installment in the difficult political history of this CT city.
.And not just in Bridgeport, Hartford and maybe even in a few other towns and cities, voting places having run out of voting ballots. What gets me is that it seems, for CT, it CANNOT GET ITS ACT TOGETHER in regards to being PREPARED for a MAJOR midterm elections such as this one. Even my season citizen mother, a life-long Democrat had complained about how complicated the absentee voting ballots are. Plus I am very concerned that this time extension late last night will give advantage to the Democrats.
Right now, everything is on hold for now. Stay tune.
