Posted on 11/03/2010 7:03:35 AM PDT by Federalist Patriot
Here is video of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid this morning saying his race against Republican Sharron Angle was not close. Reid was asked if he should consider himself and fellow Democrats chastened by the American people in light of the GOP winning at least six more Senate seats, and at least 60 more House seats. Reid said he didnt think we should be using words like chastened. Instead, we need to be working together, he said.
Reid wound up with a 50%-45% victory over Sharron Angle. Going into the Election, Reid had trailed Angle in the last eight polls done on the race by from one to four points.
Nice to see Harry reward voters with a sense of humility.

Harry Reid is a pathetic little man and a scumbag cheater who has no respect for the American people or our Republic.
FRAUD, you MFer!
He won Clark County (Las Vegas) big. Wonder how many voting machines were rigged by SEIU techs to register a vote for him no matter what the voter chose?
FRAUD!!!!!! That’s the only way he could win.
Harry in 2012, 21 Middle America seats are up. How do you think they are going to vote, not with you and Obama. Joe Manchin wouldn’t count on his vote.
Pure and COMPLEX FRAUD!
Done. Nevada won’t see a dollar of my money. Reid, Boxer, and Frank need to be investigated NOW.
Apparently Las Vegas, the only part of Nevada that elected Harry, likes things just the way they are. So the lesson learned is that you are right. Keep the boycott on.
This race really bothers me. I’m just bummed about it. I dont’ see how he got re-elected with the Gov race going the way it did. Just doesn’t make sense. I keep having to realize that God is in control and His will be done. With that being my comfort right now, I’m still extremely bummed and perplexed with Reid winning. I wanted this race bad.
I will never again go to Nevada and I will cease doing business with the three businesses that I have a relationship with there. You are dead to me Nevada.
I don’t like Las Vegas. I’d rather go to fish camp.
He’d better show some humility.
The only way he could win was to cheat like a mofo.
Harry Reid is used toilet tissue
and failing to win 70+% of the vote when he is the longtime Senator and Senate Majority Leader is an EPIC fail
he should have been tossed out on his a## but squeaking through as he did with vote fraud is a pathetic showing
Boxer?? She won by her usual 10-plus points; nothing unusual there.
Agree..... Harry is a used up tool of fools. Cheated the real voters . Investigate.
How die NM do overall....... Tony Anaya sorts still in power ?:o)
It is with 100% certainty that he stole this election through fraud of every kind.
I pray this withered nobody keeps that chip on his shoulder all the way thru 2012.
The republicans in the house had better seriously address the growing voter fraud issue this time, damn it.
California has quite obviously already crossed the threshhold of banana republic tin pot third world type corruption. How else to discribe the total disconnect between this state and most of the rest of the country, and with 15-20% unemployment for @#%$ sake?
If this was the theft of epic scale I think it was, where is the outrage? There is no way Rasmussen was that far off.
Steve Pearce won his seat back and Susanna Martinez won Gov. Those are the only results from NM I know of right now.
re: “. . . boycott Nevada”
Look, many, many Nevadans are totally sick about Reid’s winning again. If you look at the voting numbers by county, Reid only won two - Clark and Washoe counties (Las Vegas and Reno).
In other words, two cities gave the election to Reid. These two cities are where the unions have huge influence.
Please don’t kick the rest us in the state who just as sick about this as anyone - worse, because we have to endure this jerk for another six long years.
The only silver lining in this is that his victory is a hallow one - we have a Republican govenor, a new truly conservative Republican house representative who defeated a long time dem, a Republican house rep who retained his seat, and still another senator who is also a Republican.
Reid’s control of the U.S. senate is severly curtailed. Let’s hope and pray the newly elected House will follow through and stop obamacare, cut spending, and secure our borders - as they said they would. God help us if they don’t.
“Humble Harry” probably benefitted from the illegal vote which Obama urged them to cast in order to punish us “enemies”. Harry lives in an alternate universe from the rest of us, and if he can just pass amnesty, he’s sittin’ pretty in his mind.
This race clearly has corruption/fraud written all over it. Hopefully...rather than using the details to force Senate concessions from Harry ...Mitch McConnell will pursue the fraud that compromised the integrity of other Nevadans vote, and ultimately our Federal Senate chamber.
But I doubt it....chirp..chirp...chirp
Can you get a more despicable man? Yet Nevadans went to the polls and said he’s my guy.
I don’t think I have ever seen a race so high profile that showed one candidate clearly leading (in every poll) and the other guy wins fairly easy.
Voter fraud and a brain dead constituency got this jerk elected. What the h*ll is wrong with the people of Nevada? Is this state made up of a majority of unions and people on welfare?
Harry Reid, winner over Sharron Angle, tells Republicans that ‘no’ is not the answer
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says he looks forward to working with newly elected legislators but adds that the GOP must be ready to create ‘bipartisan solutions.’
But he also warned that Republican successes meant that the GOP would have a new role in helping govern the nation.

Reid is living proof that senile and senator come from the same root word.
In the past I have been to Vegas 3 or 4 times a year...but not once in the past 2 years.
Because of Harry and Obama people can't afford to go to Vegas.
The voters in NV are absolutely insane if they don't get the picture. If they are agreeable to let Harry ruin them so be it...but he has had a negative effect on the whole country!
And he had to buy votes of his own party with our tax dollars to pass Obamacare!
Harrahs/Ried quid pro quo!!
A piece of legislation that he slipped through...(update passed recently)

Harry Reid strikes again - new bureaucracy & more Aliens-Travel Promotion Act
From the Christian Science Monitor:
Democrats plan to continue the strategy with a tourism promotion bill, The tourism bill, especially helpful to states such as Nevada, which has been hard hit by a drop-off in visitors, proposes creating a nonprofit corporation to promote travel to the United States and correct misperceptions about US entry policy since the 9/11 attacks. It would be financed by an annual assessment of $20 million from the tourism industry and $100 million a year from taxpayers.
Lets dissect this, shall we?
The tourism bill, especially helpful to states such as Nevada, .......
Harry is behind in the polls for his re-election...just buying some votes!
proposes creating a nonprofit corporation to promote travel to the United States....
Nonprofit? Since when has any government bureaucracy been for profit?? Will this be another cabinet level department? Yet another Czar? non-profits will likely be in charge of handling this department....can you say ACORN???
to promote travel to the United States and correct misperceptions about US entry policy since the 9/11 attacks.
In other words, let em all in! 40% of foreign aliens become visa overstay illegal aliens. Foreign women, even the well to do, come here to drop their anchor babies and then take them home to grow up as US voting citizens, where they dont even have to be here to vote in our elections..... Or they stay here and get the benefits of any US Citizen. This directly effects countries who sponsor terrorism.
It would be financed by an annual assessment of $20 million from the tourism industry and $100 million a year from taxpayers.
Tourism industry....that would be Harrys big donors at the Vegas casinos. He must keep those big donors happy! $20 million to them is a great investment to get the rich Saudis, etc. in their casinos who cant get here now because they sponsor terrorism. And the employees? Can you say SEIU???
and $100 million a year from taxpayers. That one speaks for itself!
Harry is real good at spending other peoples money, isnt he??[snip]
They like their unemployment numbers so much let’s help them out and really show them what unemployment looks like.
The casinos, the union workers...here’s to you. You don’t steal elections without consequences.
You need to do something about the vote fraud in your state.
Nevada is corrupt and no one will ever take your elections seriously because of this. It is time for good people in Nevada to do something about their corrupt state.
As for me....I am emailing everyone I know and encouraging them to take their business elsewhere.
There are other places to throw money away...BOYCOTT NEVADA!!
But yet with all these allegations and implications of fraud, there will be nothing done. Come January, Reid will be sitting in his Fraud won Senate seat. This is frustrating. Nothing will be done about it.
The last man out Vegas please turn the lights out.
I am stunned
They must be mad that Angle kicked Sue & Danny out of the race
It will take a civil war to fix America.
Good information....thanks !

Well, thank you, “BlessingsofLiberty” for the fine kick in the gut support - keep your lousy money. The next time you have some Dem win in your state I will boycott yours as well. That will help I’m sure.
As to “do something about the vote fraud” that’s brilliant! How about you do that in your own state? Reid won by 30,000 plus votes - yes, there were some reports of machines having Reid preselected - the number? Two. Did it happen more than that? Who knows? How do you prove it?
How about boycott Massachusetts and California? Delaware?
Forget it, just go be a jerk in some other state.
Your response to my post is the best example of why your state will never clean up its problems or its reputation.
You should be as angry as I am in reference to what happened in that election.
Being angry at me won’t help your situation. You should join with others and clean up your mess. I would if I were in the same situation.
Voter fraud steals from all us. Nevada’s election was very important and I personally would be mad as hell and would be determined to fix the corruption.
I think it is well pass the time that our elected representatives do something about voter intimidation, faulty voting machines and voting fraud in general. I bet Harry Reid won’t address the issue because he probably has never won an election without stealing votes.
