EPA
Department of Education
Department of Energy

The three places I’d start — 100% cut in funds. Then we move on and cut in other places. These government organizations hurt us far more than they help us.

Why don’t they just ban thunderstorms. Simple enough. Might get rid of those pesky tornadoes, too. (not to mention all those air purifiers which generate ozone...)

The EPA’s new ozone regulation will damage the US economy for no reason

It will do exactly what they planned it would do for the exact reasons they wanted it to.

There’s a reason. To take money from producers and give it to those who vote democrat.

I vood like to know what are the fastest growing economies India and China doing about this. Or is this another Obama game to place America at a disadvantage?

First it was O3 and then CO2. What’s next? O2?

Meanwhile, back in the real world, here's a satellite view of the Zhuzhou region in central china on 11/12/2010. The red circles are Changsha and Zhuzhou, and the blue circle is the area of the resevoirs shown in bright blue on the Google Maps shot below.

Any politics involved? ... Google? ... China?

Last weekend I watched some live midnight golf from Shanghai, and you could see the air was hazy. At one point the announcers stated flatly that this was nothing to do with the air quality. Here's a satellite view from the same afternoon with the golf course location marked by the green circle. You be the judge!

When you are looking at parts per billion levels you are almost down to molecular levels. What evidence does the EPA have that this infinitesimal reduction will improve air quality?

I think the government would be just as effective if it banned the use of the digit “6” or maybe outlawed the letter “f”. Millions of dollars would have to be spent by all levels of state and local government as well as by companies and individuals. After millions of dollars being spent to achieve compliance, there would be no discernable difference in quality of life.
