Has he gotten a do-over yet by sending out a “spokesman” to “clarify his position” by explaining that he “mispoke” or that “his statements were taken out of context” ?

Has he gotten a do-over yet by sending out a “spokesman” to “clarify his position” by explaining that he “mispoke” or that “his statements were taken out of context” ?On the radio show where they were just discussing this, they say Krugman released a 'clarifying' comment on Krugman's blog. My browser is acting weird but you might check there.
