Fox News pays Sarah Palin as a contributor to their network. And apparently to be fair and balanced, they also pay Judith Miller and Liz Trotta to make fun of Sarah Palin:

UPDATE: Heres what was said:
LIZ TROTTA: Alessandra Stanley [of the New York Times] had the best line [in her Nov. 11 review]. She said the new [Palin TLC] show was like The Sound of Music without the Nazis, without the romance and without the music.
JUDITH MILLER (laughing): Oh, the Washington Post hated it, too . . . [Post TV critic Hank Steuver] said [Palin has] the kind of sound of a voice when warning you to heed the bears it would actually scare the bears. . . . He said you just get the sense that all shes waiting for when shes looking at this great outdoors is to get back to her SUV for enough bars to send out her latest twitter about the beauty of the environment.
OK, thats what was said during the commercial break. Heres what was said when the show came back on the air:
SCOTT: She has gotten a lot of heat for that new show. Some lefty groups, Ellis, are pushing Discovery Communications to pull the plug. How about at that for freedom of speech?
[ELLIS] HENICAN: Strategic misstep on the part of the lefty groups, as you mentioned. Let the woman talk. Believe me, the more she talks, the better off they are.
[JON] SCOTT: Interesting that some of these folks who dont like her I mean, she puts eyeballs in front of television sets, right?
MILLER: Yeah, and she got a network to pay her a million dollars per episode to do this. But I found the most interesting review to come from Karl Rove, who is not exactly a left wing lunatic, who said this is not going to advance her presidential prospects. This doesnt make her look presidential. Id listen to Karl.
TROTTA: And the numbers keep going down every time she makes appearance, her popularity numbers. You have to keep track of those. The more you see her, the less you like her. And overexposure is something the Democrats have to pray for.
SCOTT: So you think that
TROTTA: Plus the fact that they can bank on the timidity of most men, who are so absolutely spooked by feminism that theyre afraid to criticize her.
HENICAN: Give her something on the Cartoon Network
What’s the screen name of the man who posted the vanity last Saturday about this?
I have tried to ping him, but I don’t have the screen name correct.
“Retired Military Intelligence Officer” - something like that.
They won’t be fooling coonervatives with that Romney schtick. Its pretty clear that the country club GOP intends to saddle us with another lame duck RINO presidential candidate, who does not care what the people want, its their elitist agenda that matters.
We are going to EFF them royally. That has already started.
No one can stand up against Palin. No One.Not all the Mitt Romneys and all the money thay can bring will be able to defeat Sarah Palin, whether she is a GOP candidate or an independent presidential candidate.Because of this fact I fear for Sarah’s life. She needs heavy security at this point.
Yeah my mistake, I was just reading all of the negative stuff I just kinda bundled him into the mix. I went back and read what he said, something about how she attracts ratings, something like that, I guess it wasn’t negative. Those other buffoons, not surprised, they are of course Dems, and Dems are slimy evil bastards, so nothing they said surprised me, but that Trotta, WOW she makes my blood boil, to say that about Trig, I’d love 2 minutes with her
Me too, and now let their snark about Sarah Palin see sunlight!
Fire them all.
how do we get to Fox to hear what we think of that ugly cow!!
how do we get to Fox to hear what we think of that ugly cow!!
I’d love to see their asses fired. Not even Juan Williams would have said something like THAT about a baby
Right. I didn’t detect the *mocking*
Hardcore Palin supporters might see it a little differently. };!)

Side note...Sarah Palin and FNC aside TLC has put together a pretty crappy show.
I swear that’s it....... that’s the moose that bit my sister
It is going to be funny when MSM picks a candidate for us and we soundly reject them.
I can hardly friggin wait.
Well, I guess you could always quote Col. Chesty Puller again or post a great Sarah photo from your “framed” files.
I can never see Ellis Henican again with out remember Dennis Millers great put-down, it was a classic.
“Pellis who?” “Pelican?” Who?
Exactly Sarah...anyone who expects otherwise from Democrates haven’t faced reality yet...this is no surprise whatso ever. It’s all in their game plan as we know...and it is very likely to get a whole lot worse if she announces she’s running! People need to get the same backbone in them Palin has to withstand the storms coming from the Democrates, and even some of the Republicans...after all it is a war for our country.
The “danger” Palin is to the Rinocratic Oligarchy is principally that she has the potential to unite so many Americans.
Washington DC and the Rinocratic Oligarchy has spent two generations “investing” in a hyphenated America...the bits and pieces of which can be played off one another in return for power and control.
A united America has the potential to insist upon Constitutional Government....something akin to a crucifix in the face of a devil to the Rinocratic Oligarchy.
I will bet that none of them saw the show on TLC. Very little political discussion. The more exposure that Sarah Palin gets, the nastier the left gets about her (probably because they are scared of her) and the more exposure she gets. I recorded the show on DVR and watched it Monday evening. Thought it was a typical reality type show with moments you don’t normally see in the life of politicians, but it was mostly about the state of Alaska. I really enjoyed the show and I’m looking forward to the rest of the episodes.
