I don't believe it's Palin's positions on issues that are the dealbreaker with independents. I think a lot of them plain just don't like her, on a personal level.
The Hildabeast in full Monicamode.

PRESIDENT PALIN ... Does have a NICE RING to it!!!
FWIW, Eisenhower was an establishment GOP pick, elevated to deny the nomination to Senator Robert Taft, the conservative choice.
You can look it up. Senator Taft's descendants made a mess of things in Ohio, the cleanup of which just got off to a good start in the 2010 midterms, but the original Senator Taft was a great patriot, who struck fear into the hearts of the GOP Country Clubbers and Northeast corridor in the early 1950's in much the same way Sarah Palin does today.
Remove me from your ping list.
TIA
"A second -rate movie actor" or "shoot-from-the-hip-cowboy," he was anathema to the beltway Inner Circle. The beltway/media establishment, republican and democrat alike, even went as far as to run a third party candidate, John Anderson, in hopes of defeating Reagan and settling for four more years of Jimmuh Carter.
I believe we should expect and plan on a "moderate" third party candidate, from the elitist republican ranks, financed and promulgated by the leftwing crackpots of the Ruling Class. If Palin is nominated it will be a certainty.
The only question is, who will be the Judas goat? Anderson was a late entry and an unknown. I suspect that this time the saboteur will be mobilized much earlier, and while he/she will not be one of the standard decoys like Romney or Huckleberry, it will be someone a bit more prominent than Anderson was. Bloomberg may be a leading suspect, maybe one of the idiot women from Maine.
Who knows, but this is a development we must be alert to and watch for with vigilance in the next year as the 2012 cycle begins slowly to come alive.
“I think a lot of them plain just don’t like her, on a personal level”.
I havent seen any good looking women who feel that way but most of the ugly and slow ones do.
Thank you, bray.
I wish I’d said that.
That’s eggs ackley what I thought of when I saw that pic! Dirty,,,,,errrr,, great,, yeah,, GREAT,, minds think alike!
I was talking to a client about things political.
She was going on and on about what a disappointment OBAMA was, and suddenly burst into a stream of invectives about how much she HATED Sarah Palin.
When I calmly asked her WHY she hated Sarah, she COULD NOT give me a concrete reason.
Isn’t that STRANGE? She just hated her for hatred’s sake.
The real “dealbreaker” with lefties and many so-called independents is that:
Governor Palin is a beautiful woman on the outside, and as they suspect, on the inside. - She left office in Alaska with a 90% approval rating from the citizens of Alaska who had LIKED her and the job she did in the more than 3 yrs. in office. - The Democrats and leftists have rabidly brought lawsuit after lawsuit and lie after lie to the point where the only sensible thing was for her to let another Conservative sit in the Governor’s chair, stop the expenditure of money by the state in legal fees fighting this nonsense, and, further go forth to make a potload of her own money in order to pay for her own defense in the future and set herself and her family up in a responsible way. . unlike the monkey girls on the left who trumpet their “feminism” from night to day.
How presumptuous to make wide sweeping statements such as this.
How a person thinks, what their criteria is, what is the goal, how to best achieve it, what are their values, ... no one is ready or suited to be President alone. It takes good department heads, advisers on many many fronts. No one is ready to meet difficult situations until they meet them and the need arises. This is what determines the mettle of a person. Obama is an example of weakness. McCain is an example of being too old and too compromised to have values that he will not bargain away. MO
Sarah is not afraid, speaks her mind, goes to the people with constructive solutions, and will fight the establishment that has brought us to this sorry state of affairs. ... etc., etc., People can prepare fpr crisis, but until it occurs it is not possible to know how the person will respond. Bush on 911, And Giuliani in New York did a great job of responding. President are smart, willing, talented people that can communicate to the people, make sound decisions and do their best.
Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher, and a few others have proved, it was worth the risk taken by their people.
They are trying to take her out on a personal level since they can never win on the issues. Its the Alinsky model.
Pray for America
