The best thing you can say about Jimmie Carter is that he was a terrible peanut farmer.

Yes, but the doddering old fool isn't nearly astute enough to pick up that he is being called a doddering old fool, even if he ever did see Fox, which I doubt.
Besides, Fox does distort the news. They don't distort it as far to the left as the alphabet news do.

As always good satire must have a kernel(or in this case a boatload) of truth to be good satire.

I agree except about Clinton. He is about sixth. FDR certainly is third, but he had a long time to tell lies in.

In an interview on CNN, former President Jimmy Carter claimed that Fox News systematically distorts the facts and gives a false picture of reality. If one were to believe Fox News, I was a terrible president and am now a doddering fool, Carter complained. I get no credit for accurately assessing the malaise that led to the awful 1980s under the mismanagement of President Reagan. Nor do I get any recognition for helping to demonstrate what a problem Iran would become for us. I may have appeared helpless and irresolute, but who else has done any better since I was president? Here it is 30 years later and all weve got are the ineffectual embargoes and moral censures that I pioneered. People forget that I tried to rescue those hostages, but was thwarted by bad weather and a poorly conceived plan, Carter added. At least I never bowed down to any foreign potentate. Not everyone can say the same. In related news, Carter called criticism of North Koreas recent artillery attack on South Korea unwarranted. All theyre asking for is a little respect now that theyre a nuclear power, Carter argued. Our governments position that somehow they arent entitled to their own nuclear weapons is simply unfair. Shelling South Korean civilians was a desperate cry for attention, much like Hamas shelling of Israeli villages has been. Now let me get this straight.
Former President Carter fails to get the "credit" he so deeply deserves for having "assess[ed]" the "malaise" that led to the "awful" Reagan years--so very "awful," in fact, that Ronald Reagan carried 49 of the 50 states in 1984, against former Vice-President Walter Mondale, losing only the latter's home state of Minnesota; and left office, in 1989, with an approval rating of 63 percent.
And the criticism of North Korea's murderous assault on its neighbor to the south is entirely "unwarranted," as the former only wants a little "respect" and "attention." If a few innocents are blown to smitherines in the transaction, well, no big deal.
I think that's what he meant to say... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
