Obama Stronghold Evanston IL Scraps HS Honors Program -- Too Many Whites Qualify

WLS radio reported this morning that the Evanston Township High School, in the Obama electoral stronghold of Evanston, IL, was scrapping a number of its honors and advanced placement programs.

The reason, according to ETHS Superintendent, Eric Witherspoon, is that too many whites are qualifying for the program.

This is not satire. Black parents and a handful of leftist teachers are outraged that Advanced classes are defacto white/Asian enclaves. Although the school is about half Black ,Blacks make up less than ten percent of Advanced classes. Liberal white parents and administrators were intimidated by the charge that the school is “segregated.” So, the decision was made to dumb the whole school down. Asking the dumb kids to study harder was never seriously considered. Anyway, the testing required for entrance to Advanced classes was culturally biased. The existence of “tracking” in advanced and general courses, causes self-esteem problems for the non-Advanced students. The usual nonsense. That's the end of this school.

Nope. She referred to herself as “technically white”...even though she is Vietnamese and has a dark complexion. Try to figure that one out. I guess the libtard definition of “white” is anyone who isn’t dark skinned drug pusher, high school dropout, or gangbanger (ie “youths making a choiceless choice because they are victims of the white patriarchy”)

I would have asked her why she didn’t quit school for the sake of the “colored people” (her words not mine!) but it seemed like a better choice to immediately and permanently cut off all contact with the lunatic.

No it wasn’t stolen from the Chicago Tribune, which I almost never read and surely did not see their piece on this. I heard about the development on WLS and researched old coverage of it in the Pioneer Press Evanston paper.
By the way, I was invited to move my blog over to the Chicago Libune’s platform for pay and declined, because among other things, the libs who run it stipulated in their contract that they would have the right to censor me.
