Keeping all of you who are protesting against the evil Westboro "Baptist Church" folks who are spreading their garbage at Edwards' funeral...be safe, and God bless you all for helping her children and family members say their final goodbyes without having to deal with Fred Phelps and the WBC. Wish I could be there, but am there in spirit. Thank you all!
Elizabeth Edwards was just another Hillary Clinton. A power-obsessed person riding on coattails. Sorry anyone died, but the political/grifter class should not be mourned or celebrated.
And Westboro are just media whores and mentally disturbed to boot.
Oh, I don’t grieve for Elizabeth Edwards, except for her children losing their mother—we were totally opposite in our political beliefs. I just know that some FReepers were going out of simple human decency to protest WBC for the children’s sake, and wondered how that was going. Saw a few news stories with pictures, looks like the police have both groups closed off with metal barricades, so the counterprotesters won’t be able to surround the WBCers with flags, etc.
