Florida school shooter largely influenced by liberal and socialist beliefs. Clay Duke, the unemployed and apparently bipolar anarchist who shot up a Panama City, Florida, school board on Tuesday openly admired many ideas that are popular among liberals and socialists. While some have alleged that he was really mentally ill (he was actually on his medication, so there goes that excuse for his personal actions right there) or have even tried to blame inanimate objects like the Obama-economy with all its high unemployment for his destructive action, if you look at all the evidence of what shaped Dukes thinking, it can be traced exclusively to liberalism and socialism. In the end, everyones responsible for their own actions, and Dukes motivation for holding up the Florida school board seems to have been a veritable checklist of lefty beliefs.

My bet is that each member of that school board went out the very next day and bought a gun with the knowledge they wont ever get another chance like that again.

I am convinced that people like this shooter, Duke, are consumed with jealousy of those who have more money than them. Why select a school board? Maybe because he considered the school board was made up of educated, upper-middle income individuals with authority. That combination is a ready made target for those who are constantly fed a diet of victimization by a liberal government.

He was a big fan of “V for Vendetta” which always indicates two things - first you’re a goofball liberal, second you like really crappy movies.

I'm a fan of "V" and I'm neither a goofball liberal or a lover of crappy movies. I'm a liberal in the classical sense. In the sense of John Locke and Thomas Jefferson but not the modern day definition.
Yes, it is true that in the movie it is mainly about one man's struggle against a fascist government suppressing people's liberties. It never mentions the term neo conservative in the movie. You are falling into the same trap that the left wants us to fall into. That is that fascism equates to right wing. Read what the fascist leaders of the 1930's wrote and spoke about. They called themselves state socialists as opposed to communists who are international socialists. If a government is dictatorial, fascist and suppressing the people's liberties, it is antithetical to every tennant of modern day conservatism.

"Liberals cant shoot straight."
After watching the video and before I knew anything about him, I knew he was a lefty. A good conservative takes his militia duties seriously and practices with his firearms. A good conservative would never miss someone when they are only about 7 - 10 feet away from them.
In all seriousness, I don't think he meant to kill anyone. If so, he could have easily killed that stupid (but brave) woman who attempted to attack him with her purse. I think this was a suicide by cop. (or security guard in this case) And he wanted to go out in a blaze of glory. When the security guard only wounded him, he finished himself off.

It never mentions the term neo conservative in the movieOf course it doesn't. The movie is heavy handed in its political message but not that heavy handed.

Humanists basically believe that without God, human beings can still be innately moral or ethical
Very true - just look at any inner city in America. Oh wait ...

Liberals/Socialist are mentally ill. They are either losers who can’t compete in the real world, or they have become wealthy and have a tremendous guilt complex because they are rich, or they are evil control freaks who think they can rule the world because they are brilliant. You know who they are....
To: Suvroc10
Clay Duke was crazy and had a record that included threatening people with guns. His political views were sparse and irrelevant and were informed by paranoia. His actions and attitudes from long before the shooting incident resemble those of a couple of people I have known for many years(their families are family friends) who were long ago diagnosed with bi-polar syndrome and/or psychosis. My wife knew him and his wife. My wife worked briefly with the woman in school. Duke was, to be technical, a dangerous screwball and nothing more or less. Ascribing political motivations or even coherent views to the man is just wrongheaded. What such a person thinks politically is simply not relevant to anything. He will be who he is and do what he does regardless of what thoughts he has about politics and philosophy.
