Florida school shooter largely influenced by liberal and socialist beliefs. Clay Duke, the unemployed and apparently bipolar anarchist who shot up a Panama City, Florida, school board on Tuesday openly admired many ideas that are popular among liberals and socialists. While some have alleged that he was really mentally ill (he was actually on his medication, so there goes that excuse for his personal actions right there) or have even tried to blame inanimate objects like the Obama-economy with all its high unemployment for his destructive action, if you look at all the evidence of what shaped Dukes thinking, it can be traced exclusively to liberalism and socialism. In the end, everyones responsible for their own actions, and Dukes motivation for holding up the Florida school board seems to have been a veritable checklist of lefty beliefs.

“Why select a school board?”
I think it was because they layed of his wife, or soemthing like that. No?
Good point.
The DNC gears their propaganda directly to the mentally ill. I’m not joking. They relish in feeding the paranoid and insecure exactly what they want to hear.
They “layed of his wife”. Hmmmmm. That would get me upset. Just kidding. But isn’t it funny how sometimes typos make a lot of sense.
I thought the guy had blanks. As calm as he seemed to be I think he missed intentionally.
I wonder if this person has ever known people medicated and "on their meds" for being psychotic, bi-polar and/or Schizophrenic? I know several in a family that has a lot of that going way back. One fellow is a pleasant guy and his sister keeps him medicated as per prescription but he still has episodes where he tears things up- vandalizes things. He says there is another fellow who operates his body sometimes. Some folks are always "on their meds" but their meds get changed every so often because they don't fix things so well and that goes on for years or their whole lives. Being medicated does not denote being tamed. The problem seems so much more intense now than it once was because prior to the 70s emptying of the asylums, these people were kept in those institutions.
The school board because his wife had been fired as a teacher for incompetence a year earlier. Her unemployment was ending right then. The man was hopelessly PARANOID. Paranoids who express political ideas tend to sound like leftists because that is the ideology most expressive of PARANOIA.
Perhaps. But the media & libs like Bloomberg attribute right-wing political motives to nutjobs all the time, so it's useful to point out that this guy was a leftist, if only to pre-empt that mischaracterization, and to provide a counterexample for the Scott Roeders of the world.
Tenet. Tenants just rent their principles and do it without so many Ns.
Glad you could add some personal insight. We all get angry about politics but people who do things like this have a screw loose to begin with. Liberalism did not take a normal person here and turn him into a murderer. It simply gave a dangerous nutjob an excuse to do what he would have done anyway if put under enough pressure.
The movie was just horrific. The main character was a talky, emotionless bore. The dialog was stilted, preachy and idiotic. The whole plot was just goofy, start to finish.
The fight seems were lame ripoffs of better movies. The special effects were cheesy. The acting pathetic.
It was a bad movie. And then, after its release, the movie became some sort of dopey fantasy for liberals who didn't like Bush and wish they were tough enough to take him and all Republicans out. Most of them would never pick up a gun and fight for anything. This guy was the exception in that he actually acted on his fantasies, but luckily he was horrible shot!
This guy was a convicted felon who did prison time. How could he legally own a firearm?
Heard his wife on the radio this morning....whiney libs. good riddance.
Why show a left wing crazy with an illegal gun?
The fact that he was brought down by another gun {legal} makes this a story not worth telling.
Move along, nothing to see here.
This guys actions tie directly to the left-wing democrat party class warfare rhetoric. Back when the financial crisis hit we started seeing a rise in left-wingers who wanted to either harass or terrorize the rich. Recently the democrats have been spouting more anger at the rich and we are seeing it again.
The democrats have a long history of inspiring or using terrorism as a part of their political ideology from way back when they used the KKK, to in the sixties with the Weather UnderGround, to the eco-terrrorist groups like ALF and ELF, to the homo-fascist movement, to their Union thugs, and now also inspiring class warfare terrorists as well.
The left-wing always want to divide and make it seem as if they are on the side of the oppressed and when they pump up this type of rhetoric it leads to this.
I guess we’ll have to disagree. I thought it was a very good movie. Not great, but very good.
Saw a tape of this shooting on O’Reilly last night.
If I am ever in a meeting and some guy pulls out a gun, I would throw anything I could find at him & high tail it to the door, if at all possible.
I would not sit there and whine, “Please don’t do that” repeatedly as did the school board member.
I couldn’t agree more.
Oh how they hoped he was a domestic terrorist tea partier .
