I won’t vote for anyone who plays a guitar on stage (Huckabee) or who does one of those stupid “reality” TV shows (Palin). The office of the Presidency was meant to be occupied by a man or woman of dignity, not one who tried to “act cool” to please their followers.
Dignity, manner, and bearing are things that you either get or you don’t. Think of the great leaders of history: Washington, Lincoln, Churchill, Thatcher, Reagan, and ask yourself if you can imagine them playing a guitar on stage to look cool or participating in a “reality” TV show.
It is said that Ronald Reagan would not take off his suit jacket while in the Oval Office, such was his respect for the office. Palin needs to take a note from him.
