DUmmie FUnnies 12-19-10 ("Tibetan Prophecy Shared With Hopi people")
DUmmie FUnnies | December 19, 2010 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 12/19/2010 6:12:41 PM PST by PJ-Comix

Remember the HOPI ELDERS? Well, they're baaaack and this time they are fortified with 1200 year old Tibetan Prophecy. I don't know about the Hopis but it wouldn't surprise me a bit if the ancient Tibetans had predicted a bizarre tribe called the Dopis who posted this laughable THREAD titled, "Att: DU Buddhists - Tibetan Prophecy Shared With Hopi people." So let us now watch the DUmmies be awed once again by Hopi and Change in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, donning his Billy Jack hat, is in the [brackets]:

Att: DU Buddhists - Tibetan Prophecy Shared With Hopi people

[Why no heads up to DU Lutherans?]

CHINO VALLEY, Ariz. – About 1,200 years ago a great Tibetan master called Guru Rinpoche made a prophecy. He wrote an inscription and hid it in the rocks. It was found just recently. The prophecy said, “Later, when the iron bird flies, then the red-robed ones will go to the red rocks and meet with the tradition there and unite again.”

[While sharing a case of cold Rolling Rock Red.]

Surrounded by prayer flags which send out blessings for all beings every time the wind blows, this prophecy was shared with Hopi Snake Priest and War Chief Radford Quamahongnewa at Garchen Buddhist Institute following a meeting with His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche, founder and spiritual director.

[Garchen Rinpoche, the great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandson of Guru Rinpoche. Also the great great great great grandnephew of Sid Rinpoche.]

Some say Hopi and Tibet are connected, and that if you stick a pin through a globe where Hopi is located, on the other side you will find Tibet.

[I tried that but instead of Tibet the pin hit a buffet in Bangladesh.]

I'm glad to see that the indigenous cultures and traditions are connecting and there seems to be more of that going on as the Elders hook-up and create a new web of understanding. There are jewels of balance and wisdom surfacing as we consider the true nature of our nervous systems and how we function. That's where the revolution and evolution is for me as we face a very challenging scenario of such great proportions for our entire species.

[Yes, let us take refuge in Aboriginal fantasy now that our real world liberal fantasies are falling apart.]

If I remember correctly the connection is one of similarity of language. There are related words and names in both languages.

[Yes, both Tibetan and Hopi babies have been heard to utter the word "urgh."]

I'm certain there are connections between words and language here because every Indian tribe that came to Turtle Island came from Asia, Africa or even Europe and oftentimes by sea. Also Hopiland is in AZ right in the midde of the Navajo Rez.

[And DUmmieland is right in the middle of an insane asylum.]

I've read there are possible connections between Athabaskan languages and Chinese. Indicating a more direct link between these societies

[How do you say "Egg Fu Yung" in Athabaskan?]

There is no connection. The connection is with a Siberian language called Ket.

[And that is how the first people crossed from Siberia to America...via Ket Boarding.]

I can't seem to shake either the general cold we are having in Florida or the lingering cold sticking with me for the past 3 weeks. As soon as they both let up I can get into my Kite Boarding lessons. Also I see a way to barter for an entire kite boarding rig. They don't come cheap but in my case it might be FREE via barter and coupons.

He wrote an inscription and hid it in the rocks.

Any more transparency like that and I'm gonna throw up.

“I’m glad to see that the indigenous cultures and traditions are connecting and there seems to be more of that going on as the Elders hook-up and create a new web of understanding.”

I hate that braindead sentence structure. You see it a lot these days.

It goes: liberalese->casual->metaphor.

liberalese:
“I’m glad to see that the indigenous cultures and traditions are connecting”

casual:
“and there seems to be more of that going on as the Elders hook-up”

metaphor:
“and create a new web of understanding.”

It’s like they’ve opened the door to being called a fag with the liberalese, then they get cold feet, so they put the casual latch on the door, and then open it a bit wider with the metaphor in case other libs think they’re being too normal

Makes sense: the Hopi are Indians and Tibet is right next to India.

The Hopi language isn't Athabaskan, by the way. It belongs to the Uto-Aztecan family along with Nahuatl, Ute, Paiute, Goshute, etc. (For more on the Goshutes, see Mark Twain's Roughing It.)

Has anyone told the Hopis about this yet? LOL! Of course, there may be something to this. Unlike the Navajos, the Hopis have chosen not to participate in that stupid daylight savings time gig. That kind of “connects” them to the rest of Arizona. One of the “elders” told me one time that only a white man would be dumb enough to think that you could make a blanket longer by cutting one foot of it off of one end and sewing it on the other end.

I am certain that is a very "heavy" prophecy about the end of the White Devil. ;-)

Well we've got a president who cuts off a foot, throws away the rest ans declares the foot to be longer than ever before.

That's it. As I have said here for years, the #1 factor driving the DUmmies is their hatred of Christianity.

CHINO VALLEY, Ariz. – About 1,200 years ago a great Tibetan master called Guru Rinpoche made a prophecy. He wrote an inscription and hid it in the rocks.

If by "hid it in the rocks" they mean "hid it inside solid rock." That is known as Terma. He hid hundreds of teachings that way.

It was found just recently.

If by "recently" they mean "within the last 200 - 300 years." I don't know when that particular Terma was revealed but that would be my guess.

The prophecy said, “Later, when the iron bird flies, then the red-robed ones will go to the red rocks and meet with the tradition there and unite again.”

If by that they mean "When the iron bird flies the Dharma will move to the land of the red man."

I guess that was all close enough for a DUmmie.

Egad. I had to atop right there.

Any Elementary School kid with a world globe knows that wouldn't happen -- since BOTH are in the Northern Hemisphere. (as in NORTH of the Equator)

Wait ... forget having a world globe, just use Google maps and turn the Long & Lat function on.

Well, sure. But that's actually true for any two points on the globe, as long as you don't add the qualifier of the pin going through the actual center or anything.

Also Hopiland is in AZ right in the midde of the Navajo Rez.

That is true, and let me tell you, neither tribe is very happy about that. Wars have been fought for less. Neither of them (Neither Navajo or Hopi) is well known for being "peaceful," if you get my drift.

As for sticking a pin in "Hopiland" (Har!) and having it come out of Tibet, we have some pretty sad geography going on at DU.

BTW, Chino Valley has the most insane folks in the state of AZ. I've been there, and everybody fancies themselves as some sort of psychic. I called them "psychos," and they didn't like me very much, so I went back to Prescott.
