The President's Christmas Eve Speech
Grand Rants ^ | 12-24-10 | Stoutcat

As usual, the President did a superb job delivering his annual Christmas Eve speech; his love of country and his pride in our military shines through his every word. Clearly he believes in what we are fighting for, and it is evident that he holds our troops in the very highest regard.

In case you missed it, here is a small clip of his speech; I think you will agree that it is inspirational, reverent, and entirely appropriate...

Yeah, but it’s a better speech than Obama ever gave!

I’m going to have to pass with it being Christmas Eve and all. I’m going to forget about Barry for tonight and enjoy what little Americana we are still allowed to enjoy in Obama’s Utopia. I don’t think we’re going to be allowed to enjoy many more Christmases.

I enjoyed the speech too. I especially liked his talk about how we needed to end this Western heracy of celebrating the birth of Christ like infidels. That if we all did not convert to Islam we would die like pigs because he didn't feel like stopping the terrorist anymore. We needed to understand them. Great observation and fantastic post Comrade.

With people like you up in MA calling yourselves "Conservatives", no wonder we got stuck with that pinko Scott Brown.

With bated breath, #4 is far into the future and the next POTUS is a hopeful "nonlister".

I do hope Sarah decides to run and help push it into the future.

Cool. Didn’t want to click because I can’t take anymore BHO this year and I wasn’t going to take any chances. I’ve had all of Barry 2010 that I can stand for this year.

I would have put in the video if I could remember how to do it.

Y’all should have known that the description of “Obama” and “love of country and his pride in our military” were an oxymoron, after all!

In MA, this IS the kind of thinking that expresses itself attempting to survive as a type of big govt. progressive globalist conservative. I would congratulate stoutcat on the presumed conversion to faux conservative, ala Scott Brown.

In view of this posting, however, stoutcat, you should understand that aside from Wilson, FDR is the template plus non of progressive leftist statist oppressive government-a progression of increasing statist oppression and government bureaucratic domination of personal freedom culminating in our current (not)Present__dent.

No true conservative supports what FDR did, from the purposeful extension of govt. policies to perpetuate the Great Depression to manipulating the US into WWII at the behest of the Brits, right up to and including the incredible sellout to Stalin at Teheran and Yalta. FDR is the model for the current US democrat-socialist state, far more in tune with Stalin than he was Hitler, but the model none the less. FDR was a dictator we were well rid of, as well as the useless haberdasher Truman. We have generationally suffered with perpetual rewritten history of WashPost,NYTimes, ivy league, out east, fellow traveler crap, all copy writers aside. One cannot put lipstick on a pig to any lasting effect.

Idolatry in posting this uninspired and detached speech does nothing to help relieve the facts of this man’s appalling reign. Hope that helps you. Keep up what efforts there are to recover the original font of freedom in Boston, and hopefully expand your understanding of what constitutes true conservative values. You do run the risk otherwise of being a zotted troll (about which, see the stated purpose of FR).

Though it is clear that FR does not tolerate the pimping of one’s blog, even in the bloggers &personal forum (and this post is being referred to admin), here is, for the benefit of FReeper’s elucidation, whom the poster says they are, from the link site (one of three at grandrants wordpress):

“I grew up in the great Midwest, the middle of three children in a middle-class family. My father was a journalist, back when that actually meant something; my mother was a home-maker and ballet teacher. I went to college out east and eventually ended up married to my sweetheart and living in that bluest of blue states, Massachusetts.

I’m a presentation designer by profession, working at an international advertising agency in a large East Coast city, and enjoy reading, writing, gardening, boating, and am proud to be owned by a gorgeous Ragdoll cat. I have an interest in almost everything (except hockey and boxing–never could quite see what all the fuss is about).”

By the way, what DID it mean to be a “journalist”-something like writing ad copy for the progressive movement? Or was that a conservative news reporter?

Deo Vindice.
