While appearing on Fox News Sunday, Juan Williams slammed Sarah Palin's intelligence.
"There's nobody out there, except for Sarah Palin, who can absolutely dominate the stage, and she can't stand on the intellectual stage with Obama," Williams said.
Since becoming John McCain's Vice-Presidential running mate, the left has repeatedly used this line of attack. In fact, a Google search on the term "Sarah Palin is stupid" returns over 67 million results.
Apparently, the prospect of Sarah Palin running for President in 2012 has liberals doing everything they can to denigrate the former Alaska Governor before the primary even begins.
Has Sarah Palin made mistakes? Sure. She is, after all, a human being - contrary to what liberals would have us believe.
But compare her mis-steps to the man Newsweek once called "God of All Things".
Conservative columnist Michelle Malkin listed several gaffes Obama made during the 2008 election. Among those gaffes:
* Last May, he claimed that Kansas tornadoes killed a whopping 10,000 people: In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died an entire town destroyed. The actual death toll: 12.
*Earlier this month in Oregon, he redrew the map of the United States: Over the last 15 months, weve traveled to every corner of the United States. Ive now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.
In 2009, John Hawkins spelled out ten of the young Administrations biggest mistakes to that point, including:

Media types like Juan Williams gush over Obama, but never mention his gaffes, while trying to make Palin look like an idiot. They tried this with Reagan, but it didn't work so well then.

I would like to see Obama’s records. Unfortunately like his real birth certificate and Social Security card they are not open for examining. I honestly do not know the truth but you cant get his college transcripts and he pays millions to keep so much hid what is one to think, indeed if people really think about it. This guy is almost a figment of the imagination.

In conversation, I just casually mention to people that Obama is probably the stupidest, least accomplished person to ever be president. Just stated as a fact. People look shocked -- and then I give them 5 or 6 examples of why I say this, and then I ask them for concrete examples of Obama's brilliance.
No one ever has evidence for his brilliance other than "everybody knows" that he's brilliant. Yeah, and we have 57 states.

Jaun is completely correct because Sarah Palin would have to LOWER herself, act like a moron and be a LYING SCUMMY @$$hole to stand on the same "intellectual" stage with Obama.
I don't believe Sarah Palin is willing to LOWER herself like that.

Hey Juan...how “smart” is it of you to continue to suck up to the left when they’ve hosed you already. Not the brightest bulb, are you?
To: FredJake
The left and the conservatives have two very different definitions of ‘intellectual intelligence’.
Juan Williams and the rest of the left define ‘intellectual intelligence’ as regurgitating of lefty rhetoric, liberal slogans, strong emotions and a personal exploration of ‘feelings’.
Conservatives like Sarah Palin use facts as a basis for their discussions.
To: FredJake
When you put “Barack Obama is stupid” in a Google search you evidently get millions of results. Therefore, by Google standards, Sarah is smarter than Barack . . . .

0bama is clearly very intelligent and also articulate. But many intelligent people are completely wrong about so many things. Jimmy Carter is often named the most intelligent former President but he is wrong in many ways about many things.
We do not need an intellectual President. We need a patriot who will be guided by God and the Constitution.

I've seen Obama speak without a teleprompter, so I have to call "false" on your assertion that he is articulate. He simply isn't.
Can you provide evidence of how he is "clearly very intelligent"? His grades at college? His track record as a lawyer? His legislative accomplishments? Anything?
To: FredJake
Juan Williams and Obummer can’t stand on the intellectual stage of
“Are you smarter than a fifth grader”
To: FredJake
I fell out of my chair when I heard Juan Williams say that.
G. W. Bush, couldn’t raise an eyebrow without the media blasting him for being a stupid buffon.
Bush; jet fighter pilot, MBA degree, successful business owner, succesful 2 term governor of Texas, kept the nation safe after the terrorist attacks. Just a few.
Please explain how Obama has demonstrated his intellectual genius.
To: FredJake
"There's nobody out there, except for Sarah Palin, who can absolutely dominate the stage, and she can't stand on the intellectual stage with Obama," He calls this journalism....but then he is still a vicious liberal who fails to see that conservatives deserve his respect because they saved him from a liberal feeding frenzy.

What I want to see is Palin on the same stage debating policy and ideology. Common sense vs. lofty lying rhetoric. Let’s see that in action. I’ve seen and felt enough damage from the supposedly ‘smart’ intellectual types in Washington, thank you.

The media does not appreciate political types who can reduce a question or issue down to a real world answer. They gain sustanance from pompous diatribe, filling endless hours of zero production. It's all about activity, not productivity.
Palin in national office provides only two things for media. #1) Short, genuine, concise answers to their questions.
#2)Interviews with others where any question becomes Palintology.
The prospects of those two options would seriously reduce the 24/7 talking head employment pool.

I respectfully disagree.
If the ability to read a TELEPROMPTER qualifies someone as being clearly very intelligent, then buffoons like Katie Couric or Janet Napolitano might also be considered clearly very intelligent, which they are not.
In some cases, someone who is devious might be considered clever but again, I certainly wouldn't consider them clearly very intelligent.
In fact, looking back in retrospect, I can't recall even one thing that Hussein Obama has done that demonstrates clear intelligence.
To me, ZERO and those he surrounds himself with, have always epitomized LYING, ANTI-AMERICAN sacks of bovine crap.
But don't let my somewhat negative opinions influence you. :)
