Candidates, whether RINO or socialist liberal Democrats in 2012 from those other New England states as well as others nationwide will be targeted, not only by the TEA Party groups, but the general public who were just getting warmed up in 2010 when they caused Obama to cry out that they, the liberal Democrats, got shellacked. It will happen again; mark my words. The public is finished with extremist liberals.
There have been rumors and whispers of a possible new home for disaffected RINOs and liberal Democrats to form a what is privately being called a centrist third party. How in anyones imagination ANY liberal or RINO could be termed as being centrist, is so far out of touch with reality as to be a non-starter. Those types are not known for their stability or staying home. So centrist or shotgun may be thrown around a lot in the coming months.
As Ben Johnson states in FLOYD REPORTS RINOs Plan a Third Party. It is further evidence some RINOs would rather wreck the Republican Party and let Barack Obama cruise to a second term than share their party with its grassroots activists. He goes on to say however, that Their likely beneficiary is New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the Democrat-turned-Republican-turned-independent whose multi-billionaires financial heft and that alone makes him a viable national player.

I’m not worried about Barry’s re-election. When the US dollar is dumped as the world reserve currency in the next few weeks the resultant hyper-inflation and food riots will end his chances.
Seriously, how much of the GOP outside of New York would flock to his candidacy? But maybe it would give "respectable" liberals an excuse to vote against Obama without having to vote for the GOP standard bearer.
Perhaps Bloomberg is counting on his Muslim base to support him as thanks for his supporting the Ground Zero Mosque. Ya think?
When have many rinos not supported a rat?
In other news, water is wet and the sun rose again today.
Exactly. And his City’s pension is going bankrupt. So much for big money man.
News Flash: Hillary Clinton and Robert Gates will be the Democrat ticket in 2012, not Zero Obama and Plugs Biden.
I could have told you that a long time ago.
Just as an example: Will liberals really take another shellacking in '12? Possibly. Or maybe not. It depends on what happens over the next several months.
The Dems are already painting the House Republicans as stupid and irresponsible, with no discernable response from the GOP. The Republican majority in the House will be negated by the Democrat majority in the Senate, and the Democrat in the WH. The Republicans will never get anything big passed in that environment, and in the battles that will ensue the Senate, WH, and their allies in the Media will be working hard to make the GOP look bad in every battle.
Barring a major financial collapse, I think the liberals will probably break even in '12.
Barry is a one term catastrophe. His only chance of stopping his administration’s collision with reality was a Republican House and Senate. He didn’t get it. Not even his teleprompter can save him.
They’ll run Romney and possibly McCain again to pollute the primaries once more. I just wonder what token Conservatives they will get to run to split the vote.
Maybe I'm not too up-to-date on this, but I've never heard much talk about Muslims as a significant voting bloc in NYC. In addition, Bloomberg has three more years to go in his third term, and he had to bend the law to achieve that third term. At present, it would seem unlikely that he'd be running for a fourth, so electoral support of the NYC Muslims doesn't seem to be a factor here.
Possibly it's more a matter of "making nice" to the Muslims in hopes that they might be deterred from more terrorist acts in NYC.
Maybe it was bound to happen. The two major sides have been drawing farther apart, leaving a gaping hole in the middle.
Hey! I can make up crap as well as the next guy.
Though if the dollar gets replaced we are in for a world of hurt. Just like happened to Britain when the pound got replaced by the dollar.
