Was Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell right to call us a nation of "wussies" after the Eagles-Vikings game was postponed because of the snowstorm?

I might agree with Fast Eddie Rendell if he had limited his "wussies" opinion to NFL Commish Goodell's impact on the game, especially meddling with officiating, rather than extending it to the country as a whole. I fondly remember games played in the snow.

He was right. I have never heard of lawsuits from playing NFL games in blizzard conditions.

The lawsuits would have come from the thousands of fans stranded or wrecked trying to get to or from a game that was played in blizzard conditions, not the game itself.

How many people got wrecked, stranded, raped, maimed, etc. on the way to the famous Blizzard Bowl? Or about 70% of all games played in Green Bay in Winter and 40% or so of all games in Pittsburgh?
Even then, what would the legal theory be? Attractive Nuisance?
