Any semblance of objectivity grew fairy wings and flew out the window on the January 3 broadcast of NBCS Today Show. Host Meredith Vieira promoted a book by Cheryl Kilodavis, titled My Princess Boy, an illustrated childrens book that promotes the tolerance of cross-dressing boys.
NBCs Todays Family segment featured Kilodavis and her son Dyson in an eight-minute story and interview. Dyson likes to wear girls clothes and do girl things. Mom likes to make money off her sons proclivities. And Today wants to educate viewers about tolerating little boys who wear dresses. The a perfectly unbalanced segment full of liberal propaganda drew on the opinion of only one expert. Not surprisingly, he was squarely in favor of widespread acceptance, praising the mother for her boldness.

Tolerance? Yeah a little bit to the left or right of my gun sight.
Guess Kilodavis cant have a girl. Sad for the little boy.

Sounds like a song Pete Townshend wrote years ago:
I’m a Boy - The Who
One girl was called Jean Marie
Another little girl was Felicity
Another little girl was Sally Joy
The other was me, and I’m a boy
My name is Bill, and I’m a head case
They practice making up on my face
Yeah, I feel lucky if I get trousers to wear
Spend evenings taking hairpins from my hair
chorus:
I’m a boy, I’m a boy
But my ma won’t admit it
I’m a boy, I’m a boy
But if I say I am, I get it
Put your frock on, Jean Marie
Plait your hair, Felicity
Paint your nails, little Sally Joy
Put this wig on, little boy
chorus
Wanna play cricket on the green
Ride my bike across the street
Cut myself and see my blood
Wanna come home all covered in mud
Let me guess, nobody let you have sparkly dresses as a child and now you fantasize about killing people who do? I am kidding but your post is a bit...strong.
Yup.
Cuzz~ daddy was a ax wielding mas murder , we should tolerate him too. Bank robbers? Drug traders? They have their rights too! Who is anyone to deny them their rights to self determination and income? Jihadists? Come to the party too! Matter of fact, the “pres” says we can absorb another attack, let alone another eighty.
What are these people smoking?
More and more I think there are people who should be put up against a wall and...
All she wanted was a bagless vacuum, but she ended up with a bagless boy.
I’ll bet Meredith Vieira bodyguards and security detail at NBC are NOT ‘princess boys’.
When the left needs protection from the riff-raff they claim to represent, they most certainly employ the most manly men they can find.
This is a form of child sexploitation. You know its the parents not the kids that are deciding this.
Just like in Japan where you can find magazines and DVD’s of kids as young as 3 in thongs doing sexual poses sold at corner shops. Are we headed to crap like that?
Anything else risks severe damage.
My lib SIL got her boys a porcelain tea set and a Fisher Price kitchen one “Holiday”. She wondered why the cups were all smashed by the end of their “tea” with my girls.
When I got them Laser Tag for Christmas, she said, “But they’re GUNS! We don’t allow guns.”
I looked at these boys running through the house, yelling “Pew, pew, pew” with my girls and I said to her, “Then take them away. But that’s what we got them.”
Needless to say, I don’t know what happened to them, but it was the most fun I had ever seen these boys have.
I think it is pretty clear these women wanted to have girls instead of boys so these “mothers” are reinforcing girlish behavior when exhibited by their boys and providing NEGATIVE reinforcement when the boys act lilke boys.
most people would call this child abuse.
“Dyson likes to wear girls clothes and do girl things. Mom likes to make money off her sons proclivities.”
If life gives you a lemon, make lemonade?
“Wanna play cricket on the green
Ride my bike across the street
Cut myself and see my blood
Wanna come home all covered in mud”
I’m a girl and that sounds like a PERFECT day to me! :)
My boys would bend a Barbie doll in half and use her as a gun, LOL!
They’re hard-wired for that - for a REASON - Thank You, God! :)
NBC promoting the unhealthy fantasy of turning a boy into a girl? Imagine what kind of dangerous mental abuse he will take at school now.
Poor kid.
Um... No. Not in my house.
Lo and behold, she has another boy ---- and she dressed him in those dresses (luckily she didn't name him the girl's name). He doesn't remember any of it,but she has told this story to me many times. When we had our daughter, she gave me those dresses for her (surprised she didn't give them to me when we had our firstborn (son).
Now my hubby turned out fine, all man, but I wonder about his mother --- something just wasn't right about that woman.

AMEN!!
Wow thats messed up. I don’t have a problem with him having a few outfits for playtime but to put him out in public as a tool is wrong.
That’s exactly the type vacuum we have at home. It works well!!
For their birthdays you should get them a Snot Shot gun! Not only is it a toy gun but it shoot green goo instead of bullets, LOL!
but he didn`t like being saddled with a side saddle.
Pete Townsend must have had quite a freaky childhood...
Sounds perfect to me too- as a gardener and landscaper that describes my whole summer anyway
My son is 3, and like so many other boys he loves Star Wars, shooting toy guns and pretending to kill things, with virtually any toy. One time he held two toy guns at once and shot at multiple human targets. The left would be aghast by his killer instinct. And through it all, he’s still sweet and understanding as can be. I’m quite proud of him! :)
When I was young children did not cross dress, and that included a taboo on girls wearing pants or slacks. We are on the lower half of the slippery slope that started when our society began to condone girls dressing like boys and women dressing like men.
For a look at real family values watch “19 Kids and Counting.” The Duggars dress all their children appropriate to their gender.
Promote gender confusion. Great idea. </sarc>
My father wanted a boy and got 4 girls. So, instead of adopting one, or borrowing a nephew, he tried to make us boys, at least the two oldest - mostly me. It’s was confusing. He taught us how to shoot and how to work on cars. He’d throw footballs at me, which would double me over when I tried to catch it. He’d take me hunting (I was the bird dog - he’d shoot it and I’d have to retrieve it. I would cry because the poor bird was dead).
Luckily, I was a bit of a tom-boy, so it wasn’t all bad. I still am at 51 and do pretty well in the world, although I seem to have missed some girl lessons. Decorating is a complete mystery to me. What the hell is “decore” and why is it so important? However, my husband and I have been married for 30 years and we have a great time. He loves the tom-boy side of me, as well as the girl side.
Our daughter is all girl - dresses, make-up, hair. She’s been that way from the beginning. We made sure she knew how to do some “boy” things. She is well acquainted with firearms, for instance, and can kill, skin and butcher something if she needs too. (Actually, better then me. I still cry). She married a guy who sews, otherwise, he’s pretty manly (and funny).
So, who knows. The kid will either grow up a drag queen or reject what his mother tried to make him and he’ll end up on the WWF.
I know exactly what you mean. My parents once bought me a toy gun for Christmas. I used it to annoy my little brother by shooting it at his teddy bear. And I’m a girl :)
I would ask where is the father in all of this but somehow, I suspect that he is out of the picture. Children, especially boys, need fathers to role model appropriate behavior. They need to learn how to be male. When all you have to emulate is your mother and possibly her skanky boyfriends, this is what you get.
Traveling from Maryland to Michigan for Christmas, we had to make extra room for my boys collection of Nerf guns, including two Vulcans that are large bipod automatics, plus a couple foam swords, plus some airsoft guns.
I came home with a shotgun that I got for Christmas too. I guess we never grow up.
The things people will do to get their ten minutes of fame...
The kid is probably salvageable in some sense.
Write off the mom, though. Total loss!
And it’s a local story too, here near Seattle, so all the local news shows etc. are trying to sell it like it’s the cat’s meow!!
Don’t they have like Cub Scouts anymore? Jeesh!!!
That sounds like a blast!
That sounds like a blast!
That’s my profession too, Mr. K. Is there a better life? I can’t imagine one! :)
I got a new .22 w/scope this fall (for plinkin’ off errant critters on the farm) and snowshoes and poles for Christmas. Dad gave me cash to buy a new shotgun at the after-Christmas sales at our local gun emporium.
Does my family know and love me, or what? LOL!
If I had the money I’d buy one.My grandmother used to have a canister vac that we’d always trip over.Thankfully she now has an upright vac.
A porcelain tea set? Ha! It’s no surprize that the cups were smashed.
