DUmmie FUnnies 01-04-11 (Pitt Portrays Himself as Clarence Darrow of Traffic Tickets)
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | January 4, 2011 | William Rivers Pitt, DUmmies, and PJ-Comix

Posted on 01/04/2011 5:36:27 PM PST by PJ-Comix

It's been at least 20 years since your humble correspondent paid a traffic ticket. Oh, I've gotten my share of tickets but I have gotten out of all of them one way or another. The best way to get out of a traffic ticket is NOT to get into the police officer's face am remain calm and POLITE. You just know that WILLIAM RIVERS PITT is exactly the kind of complete shmuck that gets into cops faces for a mere traffic infraction by the very exultant title of his THREAD, "Victory is ours, victory is ours, great day in the morning, victory is ours!" He acts like his "victory" ranks right up there with the Scopes Monkey Trial. Only in this case the Monkey is Pitt himself for getting so worked up by something that is so easy to win. The easiest way to "victory" is instead of robotically paying the traffic ticket like most people do, just show up for pre-trial which is how we do it here in Florida. That is what happened to me almost a year ago. I showed up at pre-trial, the judge read my name, I came forward, and the judge said, "Dismissed." Yeah, I could have made a show of over the top exultation as Pitt did but the judge also dismissed the cases of almost everyone that showed up. I guess Broward County isn't too crazy about actually going through the costs of actual traffic ticket trials. Such was probably the case in MA but Pitt acts like he was some sort of Clarence Darrow of traffic court. So let us now watch Pitt who never went beyond the Gofer intern stage in his family law firm exult in his great victory in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, who once UNBELIEVABLY got off with mere warnings two days in a row simply by being POLITE to the cops, is in the [brackets]:

Victory is ours, victory is ours, great day in the morning, victory is ours!

[The Trust Fund legal "genius" who never succeeded beyond the Gofer Intern stage in his family law firm basks in his great legal "victory."]

Last October, my wife got a $200 ticket for failing to get out of an ambulance's way (in a traffic jam, next to a construction site). We argued it, I wrote my wife's argument script, and we went to court this morning AND WON.

["Your Honor, I am putting the SYSTEM on trial here!"]

F*ck you, Massachusetts, and f*ck you, assbag detail cop who gave out that bullshit ticket. My wife kicked ALL YOUR ASSES today. Victory is ours! Bring us the finest muffins in the land.

[Does anybody doubt that with that attitude that Pitt almost always gets into the traffic cops faces? Most of the time that he would probably only get a warning by remaining calm and polite but he probably almost always guarantees himself a traffic ticket with that crappy attitude. The attitude of a complete SHMUCK.]

Oh no, Will is going to be unbearable today. He want us to bring him the finest muffins and bagels in all the land...

[Let us allow the Trust Fund Gofer in his family law firm to bask in his idea of a great legal victory.]

Good catch. I am a plagiarist, after all.

[As Michael Moore and Douglas Adams from the grave now well know since Pitt recently STOLE the latter's quote.]

Well done, Will! Did the pr*ck show up? Hope so.

[SHEESH! What a JERK. When you go to trial the LAST thing you want is for the cop to show up. I got off a few tickets simply because the cop didn't show up as I HOPED.]

Justice feels good, doesn't it? I beat a ticket several years ago--cop said I (and another driver) ran a red light, but it was QUITE green--not even yellow. I remember the DA offering me plea deals to free up the docket. I refused both offers. He asked why and I looked him in the eye and said "Because I didn't do it." He couldn't wrap his mind around that for some reason. Now, it may have helped that I was hugely pregnant when I took the stand, but I don't care. (Nah, the judge had his quite logical reason--the cop was perpendicular at the intersection and couldn't have seen the status of the light in my direction.)

[Yeah, that sure ranked right up there with the Sacco and Vanzetti of trials.]

Justice prevails! You taught that dumb assbag cop and bullshit ticket a real lesson here.

[Pitt taught that if you have warm blood flowing through your veins and bother to show up at a traffic hearing, you almost inevitably get off even if you have an incredibly crappy attitude such as what Pitt displayed.]

A few years ago, the owner of the local Swap Shop here had a dispute with the off duty Broward Sheriffs Dept. officers who were doing security at the Swap Shop and he fired all of them. Days later, a Broward Sheriffs car pulled him over on the road, arrested him, and had him tossed in jail.

Say goodnight, Will.

I can’t even begin to imagine how much (free) stuff you have in your house. Do you even have room for it all? You are going to have to open a small retail store and start selling stuff before the expiration dates roll around.

Last spring, driving in Boston, in my Mercedes with PA plates for crying out loud, I went thru a 5 point intersection going stright from a left hand turning lane. On the other side of the intersection, unseen from where I started because it was on a hill, there was waiting 2 or 3 police cars and maybe 5 police motorcycles and they were pulling cars over left and right.

The police had me dead nuts and yet by just being normal and polite and having my Firefighter/EMT stuff in sight, I ended up with just a paper warning.

I think I told about 5 people total about this incident.

Shortly after buying my 1-ton, I was driving through a construction zone. The light turned yellow but I didn't think I had time to stop. The last heavy vehicle I had driven was a 5-ton military spec and I was still finding "the zone" with the new truck. A police officer pulled me over.

The road was still very busy, it was a multi lane divided highway that the city was widening and traffic came pretty close. I asked if we could move to a nearby parking lot for the officer's safety. At first he said it wasn't necessary, but then a car came pretty close to clipping him. I said, "Sir, I must insist we move to the parking lot for your safety."

After we relocated, he ran my documents and let me off.

I didn't "suck up" or "kiss ass" at any time. I was prepared to accept the ticket because I ran the red light. The officer likely responded with mercy when confronted with common sense and common courtesy.

The scum said, “...my wife got a $200 ticket for failing to get out of an ambulance’s way.”

If that ambulance was speeding to save your life, pitt, would you be so joyful about someone being in its way?

I stockpile for no more than about 6 months in advance...4 months for most items so it really doesn’t take up much room. I mean how many BO sticks does it take to stockpile for 6 months? Maybe 5 big ones but I have probably 8. 4 months stockpile of body wash is maybe only 8 bottles. Ditto shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc.. Actually the big thing I need to get in a few days is Tide detergent. I will use $1 Tide coupons on 97 cent trial sizes at Target to score them FREE in the next few days.

Victory is ours, victory is ours, great day in the morning, victory is ours in the 112th Congress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wait, Will wasn't talking politics on this thread.

BTW, do they have to add [Vanity] to the title of threads like this and why does this make "news" at the DUmp?

Actually, I have a story to match the Bostonian Drunkard’s.

Not that franksolich has ever been a rude driver, no way.

The very first time I ever visited Boston—I went there to see college friends, who were convinced I “needed” to meet some book agents and publishers, as they assumed I had talent in that direction—one day during that two-week visit, I watched open-mouthed and appalled, as an ambulance and two fire-trucks were trying to get through traffic.

Their lights and sirens were on, and it was obvious whatever it was, was urgent.....yet no one gave them the right-of-way, as if their own errands were just as important, if not more so, that that of these emergency vehicles.

No one gave way to them.

I was stunned.

In some parts of this country, not giving way to police, fire, or medical vehicles usually is grounds for justifiable homicide, a reaction with which I agree. Or at least justifiable cause to have one’s tires shot out.

I’ve always wondered if the skumbag primitive, the “IanDavid” primitive from Skins’s island, wasn’t one of those rude drivers, as I recall seeing a couple of sedans with more bumper-stickers than paint on them, that weren’t budging an inch.

And being that way is the skumbag primitive’s way to be.

Well, I went back to Boston five more times, but after seeing that the first time, I became enured to rude drivers (in Boston).

It’s sort of like with Skins’s island; when one first goes there, one’s shocked and dismayed by the obscenities, but then one gets used to boorish language and behavior.....

P.S. could you add me to the coupon ping list? My wife is obsessed with couponing.

Hey DUmmies,

Why so happy that one of your fellow “government can solve all ills” folks was so quick to oppose a poor government drone? Heck, he was doing nothing more than your favorite thing, confiscating private funds to add to government coffers. If you think that poor government drone was an idiot, just wait until you have even dumberer maroons in charge of deciding what medical care you are gifted from more government drones.

You are all fools acting foolishly.
