And alot of them became the Boys from Brazil too. I work with a decendent at the Consualte in Rio. She says nobody ever talks about Grandpa but they all suspect;)

True, but Eichmann was, if not the most wanted Nazi war criminal, certainly near the top of the list. Plus, German intelligence not only knew he was in Argentina, they knew his exact location, according to the article in Le Monde.

There have always been suspicions that other top Nazis escaped to Argentina aboard U-977-which emerged there 3-1/2 months after the end of the war and surrendered.
