Fish oil vitamin is going to be a money maker the week of 1/23. Kill two birds with one stone. Make money and get your fish oil.
Omega Factor 3 again? I love those $3 coupons inside the box.
No, different brand. And it turns out it may be a mail in rebate.
Where at Walgreens or Krogers? I'll be needing CoQ10 for hubby before long. I've stocked up on what I use, B 6, 12, Collagen, cranberry, acidopholis and E. Move Free for the both of us.
I get his advil (club brand) and baby asprin at Sam's, cheapest place I've found for it.
Note to guys: if you take Saw Palmetto get off it about 2 weeks before you go for a PSA, as it gives a false reading to the test.
$2.00 off the Suction Grab Bar...makes an excellent handle for quilting rulers when you use your rotary cutter :-) IF you buy it as a quilting product it is higher priced LOL
Suction Grab Bar...what a wonderful idea! I don’t really *quilt* but have made a few rag quilts and used a rotary cutter. Trying to hold the ruler and *walk* my hand up the ruler was a little difficult.
The grab bar would make it MUCH easier! THANK YOU!! I always come away from FR much smarter! LOL!!
Saving money with coupons and sewing, right here on FR.
And don't buy those pizza cutter rotary cutters. I use the Martelli rotary cutter. 100% better. You push it like a mouse, less stress on the hand, 1 blade will last a long time, I've only changed blades once in 2 years. Cuts multiple layers of fabric easily. Cost about the same as Fiskar cutters.
And I like the long cutting rulers with a lip on them for holding it square to your cutting board. Less slipping.
Wonderful tips, GailA. Thanks! I’ll use ANY excuse to go to Hobby Lobby.
Charmin Ultra? Count me in. And I’m a guy! ;-) Let’s see... A 5 year supply of Charmin Ultra or a laptop that will last maybe 3 years... Hmmm.... No brainer.
I've been quilting seriously for over 10 years and tried every marker made, those work the best and wash out. Tried tailors chalk and certain colors won't wash out of light fabrics.
Just don't use a heavy hand with the charcoal pencil. Make sure it is the SOFT lead, not the hard. A good battery pencil sharpener is also a good idea to keep your points sharp.
You can't get the Martelli rotary cutter except at the quilt show in Paducah or online. They don't carry it in the stores.
Hobby Lobby does carry No Slip Hoops (simply the best for embroidery or quilting) they are plastic vs the cheap wooden ones, even better than the good wooden ones (which I've broken twice) These don't break they grab and hold your fabric. There is an inter ring that fits into a groove that does the grabbing and holding
I scored one of those big goose neck floor lamps from Big Lots for $29.99, 27 watts which I use instead of over head lighting for reading or quilting. As good as a OTT lite but about $40+ cheaper. Good for any one doing close up work that requires a lot of bright light. And poor vision people like me.
