“The left is a dangerous animal backed into a corner.”
Hardly. Get one alone, in a dark parking lot, with no witnesses around. They piss in their pants pretty good.
This is very serious stuff.
It’s THE BIG LIE repeated over and over...it will become part of the belief system of the ignorant sheep that make up a vast majority of the American populace, just accepted without thought or questioning.
Having the media on their side is a huge advantage.
We have to combat this but I don’t know how...
IIRC, "Attacking zone" and "penalty killer" are gone, as well.
IIRC, "Attacking zone" and "penalty killer" are gone, as well.
As well as inside threats, who would profit handsomely off of the chaos...
We need to start demanding that any Republican candidate we put in office hold Liberals in utter contempt. As it stands now, Bill Clinton could rape juanita Broadrick, and John McCain will still smile broadly as he shakes his hand. This is unacceptable.
Dems are panicking right now, because as the country became more partisan, and the Left was beginning to be outed as the enemies of freedom they so obviously are. We need to find a way to keep the partisan rhetoric up, and keep demonizing the dems, without letting another Loughner show up to stifle the free debate, so the Dems can keep playing this “We have to get along” tune.
Our first step should be to castigate dems as cowards, for seeking to stifle the free speech of Americans, because they are afraid some random nutjob may go on a shooting spree somewhere. It should be couched in terms of allowing the nutjobs like Loughner to dictate how we Americans debate, and giving Loughner power over our nation’s political future.
We also need more partisan rancor. I alomost think we should take a day and bombard Capitol switchboards, demanding more rancor, and more opposition to the attacks on freedom.
If our Reps don’t hear from us, they could just cave.

Health reform a long time coming for Dingell
John Dingell’s got some celebrating to do. Dingell, the 83-year-old dean of the U.S. House and the chamber’s longest-serving member, has fought for sweeping health care reform since joining Congress in 1955, inheriting the mantle from his dad, who sat in the seat before him.

Taking Care of Family Business
Health care reform is the family business for Dingell. During the 1940s, his father, John Dingell Sr., co-sponsored the first serious proposal for universal health care.
Is anyone in Michigan looking at the Nepotism of Dingell’s lineage? This entire USA should start a trend as to TERM LIMITS. There is NO logical reasoning that one person or one FAMILY be in our law making process.
Well, my Penguins are about to play the Bruins.
And after the beatdown Boston gave them last week, I’m hoping the Pens kill the crap out of BeanTown!
Agreed, one on one, but I mean the left as a whole in the wake of their crushing electoral defeat. They WILL lie and cheat to save themselves.
That’s what Governor Sarah Palin is doing on Facebook, Twitter and Fox News. Thank goodness for Al Gore & the Internet! LOL
Penguins? Penguins? No...comment...
But, here's Dan Cleary from last year with the quote of the century:
Dan Cleary told ESPN.com: "All due respect to Pittsburgh, and I believe they deserved to win because they beat us four out of five, but I can't stand Pittsburgh."
;^)

Football is different.
I will admit, it’s a very nice ring.
Charo accidentally hits his own guy in the face, and draws blood.
The Penguins get a 4 minute penalty for high sticking.
One of my biggest regrets from the last election is that Dingell kept his seat. It would be hillarious if he was the one redistricted out of existence.

Best delightful thought I had all daY!
The people elected Dingell and his father. It might be Nepotism in a sense, but it was done according to Michigan's Laws governing same. I do agree on Term Limits though. Dingell,Robert Byrd and Strom Thurman and their likes were/are/did or are destined to die in office...many of them in semi vegetable states of mind?
I read the whole article and am pleasantly surprised here that the left-leaning Detroit News gives space on its web site for anti-Dingell views like those expressed in the posted article.
Forget about shopping here.
How can this woman be allowed in Congress------she's clearly advocating violence?
