I agree on the racism petard, it’s a huge problem for liberals. Most of their worldview is constructed around denigration (see what I did there?) of others over imagined racism and the effects thereof.
Race baiting and the use of static model fallacies are the two most egregious faults in the arguments of the left, imo.

As Satan works frantically in the world because his time is short, the Liberals see their own belief system being exposed for the lie that it is.
What is truth?
They can’t handle the truth, so they want to create their own.
They are afraid of the loss of power that comes when the truth is exposed.
The author asks the above question, but then goes on to answer as if the question were really "Why are the liberal so afraid NOW?"
I say that the reason liberals are afraid now is that it suits their purpose to be portrayed as afraid now.
The author speaks to the fear of losing control of the MSM, of losing control of Congress, and of losing control of the White House.
The author does not mention anything about the Courts. Liberals have owned the courts for decades. It may suit their needs to express fear and outrage as a motive for pushing the courts to accomplish what they tried to do in the White House and the Congress. They may be setting the stage for 2012 and a White House without Obama and a Senate controlled by Republicans.
They need the emotions of fear to pursuade the courts to act in their favor on any number of upcoming issues, such as: immigration, gun control, gay marriage, abortion, housing, banking, jobs, environment, terror, war, and international diplomacy.
