Why we still heart Sarah Palin -- "Sarah Marches On..."

There’s a narrative about Sarah Palin that goes something like this: until the Arizona shootings she coulda been a contender. But then with her ill-judged reference to a “blood libel” she lost it, whereas the mighty President Obama only added to his stature with a temperate, thoughtful speech which united America behind him. Bye bye Sarah Palin.

Yeah, right.

No one is saying Sarah Palin doesn’t make the odd gaffe. But no matter how many gaffes she makes – and this won’t be the last – it isn’t going to alter the fact that President Obama is a socialist and his administration a crazy house of eco-loons, crypto-Marxists, progressives, collectivists, surrender monkeys and anarcho-lesbian harpies. Nor that Sarah Palin remains the figurehead for the counter-revolution.

As exhibit a, I present the above moving, exquisitely tasteful tribute song, currently going viral on the internet. It doesn’t matter who Sarah Palin is any more. It’s what she stands for: liberty, small government, the Tea Party. It’ll take more than a few liberal smears to trample values as powerful as that.

Altogether now: “She’s not a Harvard lawyer but she knew what the Founders meant…”

Sarah is a heoine of the AMerican people. She has weathered all attacks against her, and now weathers daily death threats against her and her family, at a time when a democrfat colleague politician has been shot by a lunatic fueled by the same hatred as those who threaten Sarah's life.

She has proven she is not a cut and run politician, a quality necessary to occupy the presidential chair.

She is not even "cowed" and the left who attack her do not understand,( maybe we just have to turn up the vitriolic attacks against Sarah and finally get to her,say the left). The left is allowing Sarah to demonstrate to America her abiding courage and patriotism. She has no federal protection, no big budget security team, and she still stands tall and proud in the face of threats on her very life.

This is a brave woman, a heroine of the first water. Many who formerly held her is disrespect , are now really beginning to understand what a rare lady she is, one who is a qualified,serious contender for the office of president.

Thank you Sarah , and may you be protected from these leftist criminal whackos who clearly now mean you harm and have threatened you with death. Identify them. Turn the authorities on them. Heck, turn us on them. They will rue the day.

What Gaffe????

I believe that James Delingpole is a Brit. Possibly he believes that Americans' perception of the term "blood libel" was a "gaffe," versus much worse, as we are hearing from the Left on this side of the pond.

Regardless, his description of the Obama administration more than makes up for his statement referring to Palin's gaffe.

Putting cross hairs on the pictures of those people would get you in a lot of trouble these days, especially since the recent shooting of Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Best to just post the pictures showing them in all their natural ugliness. No need to add anything to show the comparison between the inner beauty and goodness of Sarah Palin and the inner ugliness and vileness of the other side.

I too am a man of khaki. I wear it almost exclusively except for blue jeans now and then. However one must know when to invite trouble. I really do not believe that it would be trouble, President Bush’s image appeared repeatedly in cross hairs in leftist publications and in an assassination computer game, yet it was allowed to pass. I do not really believe in double standards, and know that the left will have to realize that they have awakened a sleeping tiger. Why do you think they tremble and caterwaul so? I understand the first part. I was comment on someone else saying an Eskimo had done the first part of the Tucson memorial speech. He was joking. What I meant was a slap in Sarah's face because part of her family is Eskimo. Like Obama was rubbing her nose in it. But, the post was a joke about Obama, I didn't get it, but, anyway...lol

Yea Sarah is tough as they come. I do think it was the way she was raised. No none sense and tough love make for the best kind of parents.
