Used car salesmen are at least doing something worthwhile in the economy. He always struck me as the lowest of the low, a plaintiff’s attorney, you know, ambulance chaser type.

I happen to buy all my cars used from a guy I've been doing business with for over 20 years. His reputation is golden in this town.

Lawyers are necessary to an adversarial system, but at the margin they are doing far more harm than good. To remove power from lawyers and rid us of the John Edwards types, institute the English Rule. Tort lawyers react to the English Rule like vampires to a crucifix.
