Dr Stuart Jeanne Bramhall, an American expatriate currently living in New Zealand, has started an online petition to indict Sarah Palin. The online petition says:
We, the undersigned, call on the Department of Justice to issue an indictment against former Alaska governor Sarah Palin for incitement to violence for designating Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords with a gun target image at her SarahPAC website at www.sarahpac.com. We believe there is ample evidence from Palin's public speeches and commentary that the image was used with the specific intent of inciting violence against Democratic congressmen labeled with these gun targets. We are also concerned that failure to prosecute Palin and others who have promoted this type of gratuitous violence sets a dangerous precedent.
According to an article she wrote at Salon, Dr. Bramhall compared Palin supporters to Nazi brownshirts and claims Palin's words and clip art used on a political ad were designed to incite violence.
No mention was made of similar graphics used by Democrats in similar ads.
Bramhall claims that there is "ample evidence" that Palin's words caused the shooting, but failed to explain what words, specifically, caused the violence.
She also claimed other members of Congress "targeted by Palin" may be in danger if the DOJ fails to act.
"Allowing Palin and others to continue to promote this type of gratuitous violence sets a dangerous precedent," she wrote, failing to specify what, specifically, she believes constitutes "gratuitous violence."
Bramhall, a 63 year old psychiatrist, activist and author, left Seattle in 2002 and started a new life in New Zealand. In her bio at Salon, she claims to have been the target of "extensive government harassment" for her political activism.

I read about that so called doctor the other day. What a complete loon. But, let her go ahead, it’ll make people sitting on the fence realize just how crazy the left is. They are scared stupid.
I've never heard of this lady, but somehow I suspect that the "harassment" consisted of pesky creditors obtaining and collecting money judgments in court. I doubt she was important enough for the government to bother with her, unless it was trying to collect back taxes.
