Anita MonCrief on Hannity Radio Today to Discuss Formation of First Black Tea Party (3pm ET)
Gulag Bound ^ | January 20, 2011 | James Simpason

Anita MonCrief, infamous ACORN whistleblower, will go on Sean Hannity's radio show this afternoon in the 3 -4 pm (eastern) time slot to discuss the founding of America's first black Tea Party.

Named after the first person to die in the Revolutionary War, the Crispus Attucks Tea Party was founded Tuesay, January 18th, 2011, at "This Is It" soul food restaurant in the heart of Houston, Texas' 3rd district.

(Read the interesting original court documents about the "Boston Massacre," including a dramatic description of Attucks' slaying, here.)

The 3rd district is Represented by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and was the focal point of rampant ACORN-style vote fraud and widespread voter intimidation this past November. It is thus fitting that this tea party had its inaugural meeting right down the street from Lee's residence.

With the typical politesse and considerate attitude of conservatives -- always left unreported by the press (do ya think?) -- Rep. Lee was extended an invitation to the event. And with typical leftist rudeness, Lee snubbed it. Wonder why? These are her constituents, after all.

Surprisingly, the local Fox News channel reporting on the event hastened to observe that many attendees at this founding meeting were white. Simply unbelievable. Is it not even possible to attend an event in support of the group without the information being somehow skewed by the media to suggest that it wasn't "authentic" because white people were there???

One blogger put up a hilarious parody of liberal hypocrisy, observing that if they could get away with it, liberals would report the event as: White Tea Party Racists Attend Black Tea Party.

Well, never mind. "The times they are a changin!" Yes they are, and the media is getting the message, whether they want to hear it or not. We are not going away.

Be sure to listen in to Anita's description of this exciting event and how it all came to be.

There is no "Tea Party." That's part of its beauty.

There is, however Gulag Bound -- and there is a spoon.

There’s one Tea Party, that’s it. Blacks are welcome to join.

Thanks for your generosity, but there is no "Tea Party." That's part of its beauty.

There is, however Gulag Bound -- and there is a spoon.

All tea parties are local

Her locality just happens to be majority minority.

God bless her.

Cripes...overreact much?

LOL - yes, mostly.
It's the start of something I think should not continue - but that probably can't be stopped, people being what they are.

It's the start of hyphenations - Black-Conservative, Latino-Conservative, each with their own definition of what "a conservative" is, depending on their culture, life experience, blah, blah, blah.

It's the beginning of compromise between hyphenated conservative groups who don't see eye-to-eye.

And above all, it sets something other than being a Conservative above, well, being a Conservative.

I'd rather see a group of Conservatives where one might say "I'm a conservative black" or "I'm a conservative latino/latina".

It's a word-ordering thing.

"Gutsy woman. She deserves support."

She is a gutsy lady, however I will not support anyone, anymore, that wants to start a group dedicated to blacks just because they are black.

She could be doing gutsier work by telling blacks whey they should be joining the existing tea party movement.

"There will be time later to join forces if we can just wake some people up."

Just as soon as it becomes acceptable to form white groups, talk to me about joining forces with folks who can't identify with thoughts that aren't about color. I'm so sick of this crap. Blacks don't want a colorblind society.

My comments are in response to your comments only, I am not attacking you personally.

So, the title of the story is bogus and this lady is not trying to form a group of blacks? I guess she is trying to convince the blacks that the tea party movement is for them and they should attend the next tea party gathering in Atascocita?

Sorry, that's not what I got from the story. YMMV

I am not attacking you personally.

And I certainly don't take it personally. You have to admit that most of the black folks you talk to have been so indoctrinated that you might as well be talking to Michael Moore about free markets.

I think other black conservative voices may be the only hope, but I may be wrong. These times we live in may have a stronger effect on the black communities than anybody knows. When all the government programs dry up from lack of funding, there's liable to be an awakening.

“So, the title of the story is bogus and this lady is not trying to form a group of blacks?”

Correct. It is not exclusive to blacks, as is say, the CBC.

>>>“She could be doing gutsier work by telling blacks whey they should be joining the existing tea party movement.”<<<

Do you have any idea how tea parties work?

New tea parties are being formed all across the country. This tea party is being started in an urban black area, because they don't have one.

Anita MonCrief explained this on another thread. She said the media was calling it a black tea party, not her. That's why half the people that came were white.
