I like Rudy...for a moderate...but that choice is a no-brainer. Sorry, Rudy.

And that is the best reason why he should run, to split the RINO vote among Mitt Rudybee. Sarah will get all the conservatives and clean up.

Sarah is comfortable with her values, as are a majority of people in the Republican Party. Rudy’s values run as deep as the political winds. He will never get the Republican nomination. Last time around is as close as he will get.

"I’m, still, waiting for conservatives to, really, create foolproof plans that will reverse all worldwide political correctness, asap, until all worldwide political correctness is eliminated, asap! This should of happened, already! If worldwide leftists can, successfully, create political correctness, then worldwide conservatives should be able to find successful ways of reversing and ending worldwide political correctness! Come on, already!"

Political correctness starts the second a child enters the public school system. The Dept. of Education needs to be eliminated. Parents need to take back control of their local schools. No federal money to any universities or colleges.

OMG, no contest. Sarah has more sheer guts in her little pinkie than Giuliani’s entire effeminate body.

I seriously wish it was Rudy vs. Sarah. Sarah would win 99 percent of the votes.

That would be true if voting was limited to members of Free Republic in good standing.

Giuliani running would be a good thing. He’d help reduce Mitt’s margins and he won’t pickup Palin voters.

He will be more likely to run if Governor Palin runs to show the contrast? LOL.

Talk about a custom bred stalking horse for her.

Guys, this is good news. This splits the ‘moderate’ vote.

Rudy is a huge Governor Palin fan...notice, he will only run if she runs...he will run to take out Romney and Daniels and Pawlenty. Divided they fall.

He may find a spot in a Palin administration, who knows? But the media has this all wrong, as usual.

Yep.....Rudy Loves Palin and he would certainly pull votes away from Mitt! This is a good thing overall!

Ok... so are we going to be a party of poofters or a party of Patriots? With this republican party... one never knows.

True enough. That would not be an issue with FR -- 98% of the known Rudy bots were zotted in 2008.

If the candidate is not truly Conservative... they will never see a vote from me... and in that... I am not alone.

99%? Man, don’t kid yourself....maybe on FR, but Guiliani is pretty darned popular amongst establishment Republicans...magritte

What if a conservative candidate wins the nomination, but feels they need a moderate VP to ‘balance’ the ticket after a rancorous primary, like Reagan/Bush?

Everyone on here seems so concerned about recent polls of independents, that might be a way to bring them on board. Just asking questions...

It would depend on what you meant by “moderate”. Pro abortion is never going to work. Amnesty will never be accepted either... not going to happen. After that... it would depend upon who it is.

I have to say... that Reagan's choice of Bush lead directly to clinton... because the VP has a likely chance on becoming president... and Bush was a liberal that did not keep his word and only got elected because of Reagan. Not a good precedent at all.
