`Grizzled gray statesman’? Jet-black, `hard driving young go-getter’?
I’m going to go with `a lttle gray at the temples,’ suggesting that he’s embattled but raring-to-go in finishing his 1st term and this country in a 2nd term.
They continually get blind-sided, sucker-punched and steam-rolled by the Dhimmi-Crats, over and over and over....and they NEVER LEARN!
They have validated Einstein's definition of "Insanity" for the past 50 years!
Whereby the Demo-RATS don't ever know how to act like the "Minority Party" (when they are); the clueless "R's" DON'T know know to act like winners and LEADERS when in control.
That has got to be one of the most frustrating things (and at 67 and a Nam Vet I've seen plenty) I've had to endure/experience in my lifetime!!!
