Speaking to a pro-life rally in Austin on the anniversary of Roe v Wade yeste3rday, Texas Governor Rick Perry made a promise. A good move and a smart move.
Gov. Rick Perry announced Saturday that he will designate as emergency legislation a bill requiring women seeking an abortion to first receive a sonogram of the fetus.
Isn’t this the law in some states already? It needs to be the law in every state. Watch out for exploding liberal heads though. IMHO it’s a simple matter of informed consent. If the need/desire for an abortion is so thin that it can’t withstand knowing exactly what’s going to happen to the fetus then it’s probably without merit.
I’m not sure. Anyone know?
