Dem congressman tells Arab TV that GOP won the House due to Americans’ racism. On a post-State of the Union speech TV interview with, of all outlets, an Arab television station, Democrat Jim Moran of Virginia weighed in on why he thought the GOP did so well. Instead of telling the truth that the GOP wins were because of widespread irritation with Obama’s economic ruination of the US in his first two years, the congressman went to racial reasons. Specifically, he asserted that many Americans actually still have a problem with the fact that their president is an African-American. Moran did not have the guts to say this on television broadcast in the US, so he instead spoke with Alhurra, which is broadcast into Arab homes in the Middle East exclusively.
