Chick-fil-A has always been my favorite fast food restaurant.
Last year, I cut fast food out of my diet. I have made one lone exception to this rule: the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich.
At the end of every successful week of physical fitness, I treat myself with an indulgence of delicious fried chicken and tasty waffle fries. The thought of my weekly "victory meal" motivates me to power through my goals at the gym.
As a Southerner, I have always loved fried chicken. The cleanliness and great service at Chick-fil-A is another major reason why I go there. There is something about the presence of bright, smiling people who enjoy serving me - a stark contrast with the proletarian staff of McDonald's or Krystal's - that keeps me coming back for more. . .
Recently, a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Pennsylvania catered to a "controversial hate group" called the "Pennsylvania Family Institute" which opposes the legislative assault on the established definition of marriage.
It caused an uproar in the gay blogosphere.
Over the weekend, the New York Times wrote an article publicizing the gay led activist assault on the "homophobia" of Chick-fil-A.
Christian students at Indiana University in South Bend recently discovered that Chick-fil-A has been kicked off campus. University administrators "decided" to remove Chick-fil-A as a vendor for catering to the Pennsylvania Family Institute.
I was depressed to find out that Chick-fil-A has raised the white flag and will no longer cater to "anti-gay marriage groups."
This is just the latest example that "tolerance" is a one-way street for the Left: conservatives are expected to change their ways and resign to their inevitable defeat in the culture wars. . . .

I’d patronize them frequently, but their nearest store is 70 miles away.
Simply say, “Chick-Fil-A is against gay marriage.” Eat there if you support us.
Sales will rise 200%.
Why are only leftist supoorting organizations allowed to be vendors in schools?
If they SUPPORTED abortion would they be allowed back onto the campus?
Time for Chick-fil-A to move near the campus and lowball all the on-site organizations out of business

Sadly the left won the battle in this war. Not sure what Chick fil A is thinking but probably should have stayed out of politics anyway. They will lose money over this. The Sunday’s off is great showing Christian values but to express your politics when all you do is sell chicken to the ENTIRE public is not smart.
Maybe that expectation is there because that's what companies do? Instead of sticking to its guns, Chick-Fil-A rolled over and caved without any real fight at all. Instead of voicing its opinions, it couldn't surrender fast enough. Don't blame the left for their tactics, blame companies like Chick-Fil-A for helping them get away with it.
The angry left should really protest at all Chic fila locations on Sunday to hurt them since that is a day of worship for Christians. Yeah, go on sunday and shut them down.....

It is smart if one looks at the entire picture and the health of one’s country. Many of the founders back in 1776 were businessmen who had Tory clients but they still made waves and took the risk. They were men first and businessmen 2nd.
Here is what I don’t understand:
When you actually try to “follow the thread” to figure out JUST HOW Chick-fil-A supposedly is anti-gay(-marriage), you find this very long-winded, iterated explanation. Best I can figure out, the company gave a small grant to an entity that put on Bible-based marriage-strengthening seminars. That’s it.
It didn’t fund Prop 8, it didn’t oppose some sort of gay civil rights law, nothing like that.
On top of ALL THAT, the company even halted the challenged grant.
Yet still it is targeted with the seething hatred reserved for few others besides Palin.

Frankly, if that's the reason they were being criticized, they should fight back with the idea that the groups doing the criticizing were interfering with the company's ability to do business, PERIOD!
Hard to believe that the only Chick Fil-A in New York is on University Place, near NYU, in Greenwich Village.
McDonalds and Burger King can now thank the gays for the loss ov my and my familys’ business. We will now eat exclusively at Chick-fil-A!
I also plan to energize efforts to boycott any and all businesses that take the point in support of any left-leaning person, place, movement, and specifically, any gay entity. They could simply sit down, shut up, and live life, but they are determined to get in your face, so fukem’!
This country has become over-run with common street whores. A well-placed dollar bill will always drive the outcome.

I'm sitting at my desk and he's going in to this rant so everyone could hear (trying to shame me/others into changing where we should/should not go for lunch)... I told him "I have no idea about that" and quickly tried to change the subject.
This same guy goes on rants about Fox News and Andrew Britebart (spelling?).
Memo to self: rule 1... don't talk to anyone in the office. rule 2... if I forget, go back to rule 1.
I like Chick-fil-A and will never stop going.
It’s disgusting that a few faggots’ displeasure, amplified by the extreme left wing NYT megaphone, can force Chick-Fil-A away from supporting a group that shares their values.
