This burglar's career was most likely permanently ended by the five shots from his intended victim's firearm as the burglar walked into the home. He was shot after he closed the home's front door after entering.
It was videotaped by the homeowner's security camera. Its ironic that this burglar was shot while standing under a "lucky horseshoe" hanging...

That sucks for the homeowner. Having to go through all that hassle to repaint the walls.
Kush
Wow. Somthing looks suspiciously fake about that. Perhaps it is simply the reality of it. Good blood spats on the wall. But why is the tape so short? And old hubby better not come home drunk. She just shot without double-checking identity.
Just my opinion...
“That sucks for the homeowner. Having to go through all that hassle to repaint the walls.”
I am thinking getting the stains out of the carpet would be much worse.
I’m sure there’s some flooring work that will have to be done too....sucks.
I agree, would bet it is a fake.
Good blood-and-brain-matter special effects, though.
Definitely fake. The “burglar” is in another video on the guy’s you tube page. With another good blood spatter too.
did I just watch a snuff movie? :(
“Somthing looks suspiciously fake about that.”
I was thinking the same thing. But I did notice that if you look at the door at 22 seconds in, there are two holes. If you look at the peep hole and use it as 12 o’clock, they appear at 8 and 6.
I vote fake.
Any more info on this video? Looks staged/edited to me, the blood splatter on the wall after the 3rd shot or so appears a few seconds after the ‘perp’ is already falling, and is at the wrong angle to the shot. Not to mention the ‘gunshots’ sound nothing like a semiauto handgun but more like rifle gunshot sounds...
Not complaining if was a real burglary and real perp getting taken out, but something just doesn’t look right here.
I’m not gonna go watch it but I vote fake anyway.
Oh, no.. perfectly appropriate... for the homeowner, of course.
Fake.
The shots wouldn’t echo like that in that space.
Very effective at cleaning up thug blood. Go over it with warm water afterward to get any residue.
I liked it when I found it. I don’t know if its authentic or not, but it makes a good video anyway.
It’s faked.
The shot sound effect is used all over the place.
Logitech used it in their joystick caliberation programs for assigning the trigger function.
It being passed off as real is wrong.
It should have been listed for what it was.
Fake but accurate.
Fake. I know it’s possible, but who has audio recording on their security camera that appears to be sitting on the kitchen table?
Fake. The gun doesn’t exhibit recoil, and its slide never moves.
It looks pretty real, but the sound is all wrong.
Staged.
They didn’t even try to make it look realistic.
The gunshot sounds were a joke, and the burglar was a very poor actor
This kind of logic works for the msm, why can't we use it?
The two bullet holes in the door are too high for the downward trajectory of her firearm’s shots.
Yep. That’s a well-known popular sound effect, and it is ~not~ really how gunshots sound, especially when captured on a video camera.
Yeah, the sound effect is a rifle sampled outdoors.
Now if they really wanted to go for realism, they would’ve had to fire the weapon indoors into a bullet catch at four different angles inside confines of the same materials and shape.
*chuckle*
A 9mm would have sounded like a series of clicking pops.
