Obama Defies Court, Now A Dictator
From Sea to Shining Sea ^ | 2/3/11 | Purple Mountains

Not Since President Andrew Jackson defied the Supreme Court has a president of the United states ignored a judicial ruling. Federal Judge Vinson ruled this week that the entire Obamacare law was unconstitutional, yet the Obama Administration is continuing to implement the law.

Unless Obama applies for and is granted a stay, Obama is in contempt of court, and we have a dictatorship in America. If this were not bad enough, today another federal court found the Obama Administration in contempt for its continuing ban on offshore drilling in the Gulf:

We need another Tea Party rally in front of the White House ASAP. Then Mubarak can announce that clearly it is time for Obama to step down.

I like it.

Why on earth would he start obeying the law now? The very fact that he was the democrat nominee was a violation of the Constitution, a violation many democrat fascists knowingly participated in. Wrenching the government out of the hands of the fascists is still touch an go.

Many people think that because we were able to get a GOP majority in the House that things will continue to work according to the Constitution and the law just like they always have. Barry ignoring the courts is an example of just how wrong that attitude is. Watch Barry keep on implementing Obamacare and keep on doing anything else he damn well pleases no matter what the courts say. Barry is insane and people don't want to admit that or admit what that means.

Barry lives in Barryland where everyone has saucer ears like his own and just loves their great leader Barry. Or did you miss his telling the world that this is a Muslim nation? Courts and laws are part of a reality Barry doesn't admit exists and expecting him to act as if he's in the real world is pointless.

To get an impeachment passed we’d need a bunch of republicans with balls. I think the senate is more rino now than it was when Clinton was impeached.

Get a grip on yourself.

The Judge in Florida didn't file a temporary injunction but left the ruling to stand as is until it is sorted out in higher courts.

So, as a matter of law, 0bama is NOT in contempt for defying an injunction. There is no injunction.

If you think there SHOULD have been an injunction (I agree), that is an entirely different subject.

I think you are wrong. Obama has embraced nullification. We should rejoice. Now the states should follow the administration’s lead and begin using their powers of nullification.

The declaratory relief granted by Vinson makes the issuance of an injunction superfluous (as Vinson himself noted). The presumption of a court is always that the government will obey the law as decided.

In this administration's case, that presumption is utterly misguided; nonetheless, the presumption will remain.

Nothing at all prevents any of the plaintiffs from re-filing, pointing out that the law is being ignored, and having a second go at an injunction. I suspect Vinson is no more satisfied with the administration's behaviour than is the 5th circuit judge today who held the administration in contempt over the drilling ban.

Gee and you wonder why revolutions are popping up everywhere! American folk don’t take too kindly to DICTATORS trampling on the constitution or the rule of law. The king of England tired to suppress the folk here and look how it ended up. With all the upraising overseas Ozero should take note an American revolution can easily root here as well!

I agree completely. Not saying it would or is likely to happen, just that it should, and it's the only effective way to stop the lawlessness before Jan. 20, 2013. And you're right that it would require the Republicans in the House have much bigger man berries (got that phrase from Peter Boyle and Everybody Loves Raymond) than they have ever given evidence they possess.

Are they going to file a contempt of court? And then issue a warrant for his arrest. Send the U.S.Marshalls to the White House and put him in cuffs, perp walk him out to an awaiting paddy wagon. Seriously.

second go at an injunction.

The finding that the law was void, makes it so an injunction is unnecessary. The law is void.

The injunction will **become** necessary if the party-to-be-enjoined can be shown to be not complying with the declarative judgment (i.e. that the law in question is void, but defendant is engaged in implementing it regardless).

If you or I were the defendant in a similar (obviously not identical) case, we would be summarily found guilty of contempt, and likely jailed for the egregious nature of the contempt. Unfortunately, this is not an option for the judge here, and a subsequent injunction will need to be issued.

Get a grip yourself.

The Judge said there was no need to issue an injunction because the law is unconstitutional. Period.

Soebarkah’s Islamo communist a$$ is in contempt. Period.

I am beginning to believe that is EXACTLY what the left wants! They want a full-on, bloody riot! But, not so that "The Won" can implement martial law, nope; I believe they think they have enough followers and enough Muslim insurgents to pull a 1979 Iran right here in the USA!

I truly believe that he and his ilk are that deranged and off-kilter! It scares the bloody crap out of me to think it, but looking at his actions and his utter disregard for the will of the people, he has to believe that he can force his will upon the people!
