Itís time for the impeachment of Barack Obama
The Right Scoop ^ | Feb 3, 2011

I am fit to be tied today. Hotair reported earlier today that the Obama administration has been held in contempt for disobeying a federal ruling that they must discontinue the oil drilling moratorium they had issued last year:

He’s the Muzzie Bro in Chief.

I believe if he had stood with the citizens of Iran when they attempted to oust their Nut Job dictator, NO OF THIS WOULD BE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW.

Muzzie Bro in the WH showed such incredible weakness, the Muzzie Bros in the Mid East took that as a nod to do this now.

Question is, did Muzzie Bro in the WH do it on purpose, or is he really that spineless?

Seems to me, he's ignored two court rulings (drilling and Obamacare). That's at least two, clear-cut violations of oath of office. Why hasn't Boehner started the ball rolling?

As much as I like the idea, with only 47 GOP senators—a number of the them RINOs-—forget about it.

Concentrate instead on finding a winning candidate in ‘12 (which is next year)

Absolutely NOT. Impeachment is long overdue.

There should be a recall and indictment of every Congressman

I waded into Couric’s infotainment on SeeBS last night just to see if the Perky One could report the contempt citation.

Yeah, I knew then I was wasting my time, but I wanted to see what was more important than the impeachable offenses committed this week.

The evening's fare was Egypt, the abuse of so called reporters by Egyptians, Midwest snow, and Egypt.

My husband and I were just saying the same thing last night. There have to be numerous impeachable charges that can be brought against him. Problem is, can you imagine the racial wars and riots that would take place in this country? The Republicans would be held responsible. It is almost an impossible situation for them.

HD TV, 3D TV, FaceBook, Twitter, sports talk radio, automobiles... we’ve all sold out in one way or another. When it happens, and Americans are left in the dark with no Internet, no radio, no gasoline for their automobiles... only then will they realize that the social malaise laid upon us by the 1960s era radicals has turned into an unstoppable cancer.

Can’t impeach.

1. Not enough Republicans in the Senate to convict.
2. Country doesn’t like impeachment and won’t support it.
3. Obama would love to be a martyr. He’d get huge sympathy from the populace and make it harder for Republicans to undo the damage he’s done.

This is a far better option than serfdom. Egypt - big deal. Riots and protest. It is a good thing. Sure beats being a slave. See Romania. Standing up to people who oppress you should be an individual’s duty. People have become sheep and enslaved by TV. TV controls the masses. I dumped over a year ago because it all supports Hussein. If Americans have to choose between serfdom and giving up the TV clicker - they will chose serfdom.

I know most won't, but there may be someone who actually cares what the law says, so...

There are two kinds of contempt, civil and criminal. Generally, civil suits don't result in criminal contempt charges (unless you perhaps directly threaten an officer of the court, like the judge) - yes, it's a charge, and just like any charge, the accused has rights under the principles of due process, and that means a jury trial if they so desire.

The much more common civil contempt (which is what the judge ordered for the Obama administration) is not a crime - neither a high crime, nor a misdemeanor. Ergo, impeachment is not a possibility. Sorry.

That was the implicit threat if he wasn't elected in the first place. Are those threats set to lessen or increase with time? It's either bite the bullet now, or just slowly and painfully fade away and die later.

Well, FRiend, the Impeachment can have more than one Count.

Article III, Section 3, Paragraph 1, of the Constitution of the United States:
"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them,
or, in adhering to their Enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
"

The "aid and comfort" prong of treason has been interpreted
by SCOTUS as requiring proof of four elements:
1. an intent to betray the United States (which can be inferred from);
2. an overt act;
3. witnessed by two people; and
4. that provides aid and comfort to an enemy of the United States.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious.
But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly.
But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.
He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.
A murderer is less to be feared."

-- Marcus Tullius Cicero

Proving once again that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. I forgot your special gift for that. Thanks for reminding me.

Once again sport, criminal contempt is a charge. A civil contempt is a finding. The federal judge in this case found the Obama administration in civil contempt.

Your entitled to your own opinion, but you're not entitled to your own facts.
