Yes, she and Angle were prime targets.
And you know what, every conservative that supported her over Mike Castle was vindicated in the lame duck session of Congress that followed the election. We all got to see exactly the type of senator that Castle would have been.
Top target? Or fat target?
Didn't matter. She never had a chance in that state, anyway.
Yes, she was the top target because she would be seated immediately as a replacement for Joe Biden. She woulod have been the 42 vote in the senate.
She had to be defeated.
After running off the road to ruin in November Obama and the MSM combined with wimpy Republicans have got us back on track.
I don’t know if Christine knows her victory in the primary wasn’t based on hopes she was going to win the general. It was about expunging RINOs wherever possible.
As such, she served her purpose well in the campaign. Now, if she harbors any ideas about running for office again, she should start local and prove her abilities at that level and go from there.
I donated to her campaign and wish she would have won. Karl Rove, you know the guy who’s going to make sure a RINO is our nominee yet again, he showed us where the GOP stands.
Christine O’Donnell: I Was MSM Top Target.
Laughable....
Where ELSE could Biden be sent to campaign where it would have helped, other than his home state?
And sending Obama was to associate him with a win; Democratic candidates elsewhere in the country were terrified of having Obama sent to “help” them.
She lost by 16 points to a non-entity in an atmosphere where Democrats were getting massacred left and right.
Yep, although she wasn’t so much a target as an opportunity. They didn’t “target” her because they wanted to defeat her — they were sure of that.
They made her the national face of the tea party movement, in the hopes of turning around the national election. They used her as the generic bogeyman, to shut down Angle, Buck, Rease, Toomey, and Fiorina.
They succeeded in most cases, Toomey managed to hang on but acknowledged the difficulty posed by the white house strategy.
