America is asking itself if O'Donnell has a brain.

Apparently there is a contest going on at MSNBC to see who will emerge as the "face of hate" for the network of insane liberal hate.
Newsbusters' Noel sheppard writes that Lawrence O'Donnell berated Congressman Steve King (R-IA) over President Obama's religious background, and actually asked the Iowa Republican if he was a Muslim.
After treating King like a hostile witness in a murder trial, O'Donnell repeatedly asked King if he had identification proving he was a Christian.
"Should I take you at your word or should I maybe suspect you're a Muslim? Do you have a Christian ID you can show me and prove to me you're a Christian," O'Donnell asked.
Much to his credit, King kept his cool, answering "I think God’s going to ask you not to judge as I am not judging President Obama’s religion."
But that was not sufficient for O'Donnell, who asked, "Do you have a Christian ID?"
Even after King informed O'Donnell he had a certificate of baptism, the MSNBC host continued his attack. "How do we know, how do we know you are not a Muslim," O'Donnell asked.
As Sheppard notes, nothing King said would have satisfied O'Donnell. So harsh was the interview, one almost expected to see bright lights and rubber hoses with electrodes attached to a battery.
Maybe O'Donnell is saving that for his next interview with King.
Sheppard writes:
Despite this, the folks at MSNBC must have been proud of O'Donnell's behavior for the video of this entire segment was posted at "The Last Word Blog" with the headline "Is Rep. Steve King a Muslim?"
Sheppard notes this is what apparently passes for "journalism" at MSNBC.

I guess this means it’s OK now to ask if Obama is a Muslim. O’Donnell shows us the way.

You could be most correct over my assessment as I don’t watch television period, and depend upon my information about what is going on from my wife who watches some, but not much.
Trying to out hate each other....lol It’s a sad day, but, that’s exactly what it looks like.
Why any conservative or Republican wouldn't get up and walk out when they started this crap is also beyond me.
I saw part of this. King just should have laughed in Crazy Larry’s face. O’Donnell is really an unbalanced moron.

True, religion is self-professed. However, you also have to look at the evidence.
Obama’s father was Muslim, as are his brothers, grandmother, etc.
Obama attended a Muslim school in Indonesia, where he admits in his own book that he studied the Koran. How many Catholic school kids studies the Koran.
Obama mentioned in his book that the sound of the call to prayer was one of the most beautiful in the world.
It’s not just self-profession of religion, it’s EVIDENCE. If King did all the things above, then yes, that is a fair question to ask him if he was Muslim. ODonnell himself is showing his racism, as he is treating Muslim as if it’s a bad thing, like Obama would HAVE to deny it.
Racist, intolerant Democrats.....how can we manage to succeed as a diverse strong country with them?
If you ever need to correct the title, the fastest way is to hit the abuse button and report what needs correction.
He should have mentioned Rev Wright. 20 years in attendance.
That’s usually a debate stopper.
But what does it make him if he went to Rev Wrights Church for 20 years.
I watch very little TV, but have seen short clips of O’Donnell. I would be punching his lights out within minutes if I sat down with him. And it would be worth the penalty.
His response should have been simple.
“If you must judge me, judge me on my actions. Are they Christian or Muslim? Do I talk up the Muslim religion and talk down the Christian religion? Do I quote the Qur’an flawlessly and miquote the Bible? Do I embrace the hostile Muslim nations and turn my back on our Christian-nation allies? Judge me by my actions.”
That would have been my response.
That would be an excellent response!
Either we talk to one another or we start killing one another. Since killing is generally unacceptable (at least for the moment) we need to continue to talk. Having the cajones to walk into the lion’s den and calmly confront a hostile force is the sign of courage and maturity.
This interview demonstrates the leftist as a babbling moron and the republican as civil and reasonable.
Chalk up another one for our side.
