CBS News said in a statement Logan was covering the celebrations for CBS’s “60 Minutes” program on February 11 when she and her team were surrounded by “a mob of more than 200 people whipped into a frenzy.”
“In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers,” CBS said.

This is what one should expect from primitive tribal savages like many of the different Arab, Bedouin, Persian, Hashemite, and other tribes are and have been for centuries.

This is why expecting these people to embrace Democracy in any form is pure fantasy, and explains why they are comfortable with being lead for decades by one “Strong Man”, whether it is Hosni Mubarak, Hafez al Assad or his son Bashir, The Hashemite King of Jordan, the Taliban, any of the inhabitants of most of The ‘Stans or the entire House of Saud.

I couldn't have said it better, hey. Mubarak-supporters has an anti-American bashing component, which (this self-hatred) drives much of liberal media.

Islam is the most bigoted “religion” on earth. They literally believe that they can murder any non-Muslim and rape any woman who isn’t protected by an armed male and get away with it. And in many Muslims nations, they can!

I think brutal and sustained sexual assault is pretty clear.

They could have said gang-raped but they went with more antiseptic terminology.

BTW, does anyone buy the saved by a group of women story? I think they threw that in there to make things look better. I can’t imagine a group of Egyptian women stopping a mass gang-rape. In any event, maybe at some point after the guys exhausted themselves they stepped in but it seems like quite a bit took place before any intervention occured.

Also note the lack of reporting on the anti-semitic angle.

Also, I know this is somewhat off-topic a situation like this shows imho a place for emergency contraception. Haven’t seen that aspect discussed.
