I hadn’t heard of that, but am not surprised. We are living in a new martyrs era. May we all have the strength of Jesus.
Texas started negotiating with the Pac 12, and Oklahoma and Oklahoma State started saying, "wherever Texas goes, we go. Baylor said the same. So did Texas Tech, but nobody likes Tech, so they weren't going. A&M wanted to go to the SEC, & the SEC would have taken them to get a better recruiting foot in Texas. Mizzou, Kansas, Kansas State and Texas Tech would have been out in the cold. The Pac 12 made a quick signing of Colorado so they could block out Baylor but still get Texas, OU, and Oklahoma State. When they did that, Texas decided to try to keep the Big 12 together.
Most of the schools in the Pac 12 are pretty strongly anti-Christian. I'm pretty some a couple of them have banned Christian groups on campus as "hate groups" cause of Christian teaching on homosexuality.
