At Clinton Speech: Veteran Bloodied, Bruised & Arrested for Standing Silently As Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave her speech at George Washington University yesterday, condemning governments that arrest protestors and do not allow free expression, 71-year-old Ray McGovern was grabbed from the audience in plain view of her by police and an unidentified official in plain clothes, brutalized and left bleeding in jail. She never paused speaking. When Secretary Clinton began her speech, Mr. McGovern remained standing silently in the audience and turned his back. Mr. McGovern, a veteran Army officer who also worked as a C.I.A. analyst for 27 years, was wearing a Veterans for Peace t-shirt. Blind-sided by security officers who pounced upon him, Mr. McGovern remarked, as he was hauled out the door, “So this is America?” As you see, Mr. McGovern is covered with bruises, lacerations and contusions inflicted in the assault.

I cannot say I feel sorry for McGovern, who has been a left wing Bush hating loon for years. The fact that he was a veteran does not create any sympathy for this jerk.John Kerry was a veteran too.It did not insulate him from being a left wing jerk.
Isnt it strange that he would be protesting against a Clinton? As a lefty, you would think he’d be bowing down to worship her. Curious....

Clinton is now part of the USG, which makes her part of the enemy regardless of her political leanings.

And some people want her to run. Not by a long shot.
A lot of them do. They don’t think he is far left enough, which is saying a lot given that we have a Marxist sitting in the WH.
The cause of conservatism is not served by fascistically denying to those with whom we disagree the rights of free speech and free assembly.
