Impeachable Offenses? Has Obama Crossed the Line?
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | February 21, 2011 | Liz Blaine

And so it begins. As Islamist insurrections erupt across the world, President Obama incites a battle at home between producers and parasites that his union supporters parallel with the struggle of the Egyptian people. Interjecting himself into the sovereign matters of state governments Obama moved to directly violate the expressed will of the Wisconsin People by actively mobilizing his political organization to affect contractual relationships between the state and its employees, and supporting the shut down of the Wisconsin state government - a direct violation of his oath of office. Ignited by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s proposal to limit public sector collective bargaining rights for benefits by requiring union members to contribute 12.6% of their income towards their healthcare plans and 5.8% towards their pension, DNC Chairman Timothy M. Kaine worked in close coordination with President Obama's political apparatus, Organizing for America (OFA), and state & national union leaders to rally public sector employees to protest at state capitals across the nation this month (here, here, here, here and here.)

A Community Organizer is paid to foment resentment and class envy. That's how they gain power and influence. The Agitator-In-Chief fueled the flames of union dissension, declaring limits on collective bargaining rights an “assault on unions,” encouraged mob rule aross the nation to negate the last elections, and directly violated the powers reserved to the States in the U.S. Constitution's 10th Amendment. Quoting Mark Jefferson, executive director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, in an RPW press release,

"To willfully prevent elected officials from performing their official duties in order to circumvent the legislative process flies in the face of democracy. "
President Obama has radical ideas about the relationship between the federal and state governments. As head of the federal government, he has no standing to organize or allocate resources to interfere with a state's contractual relationship, to openly encourage an illegal strike by militant protestors to shut down a state government, or interfere in any way with a state's ability to conduct its business. All are impeachable offenses. But as the Heritage Foundation Morning Bell outlines, this is precisely what President Obama did.
"President Barack Obama has federalized the issue, throwing the full weight of the White House, the Democratic National Committee, and his own Organizing for America operation behind government unions, with the assistance of the SEIU and AFSCME unions."
Ar no time in American history during a period of non-war has a President's violations of the Constitution and utter disregard for the separation between state and federal rights been so prevalent. Obama's infringements range from ordering the Department of Justice to partner with eleven countries to sue Arizona for passing an immigration enforcement law to intimidating Oklahoma over its English-only referendum, denying Texas federal monies if the state refused to violate its own constitution, and forcing an uncontitutional healthcare law down our collective throats. But his latest abuse of power threatens to undermine democracy by emboldening mob rule against any state government or legislature that threatens the Left's pot of gold.

Arizona
Wisconsin

Which state will be next?

If the parasites win these battles America will be doomed to bankruptcy and third world status.

The list of offenses by Obama et al. is staggering both in terms of incompetence in some instances and purposeful flouting of the rule of law in others.

These are in deed impeachable offenses.

The House should investigate them and issue subpoenas and those that do not comply with those subpoenas should be held in contempt of Congress and jailed.

President Barack Obama has federalized the issue...

Not really. No, He is nationalizing the issue, as federalism is a partnership between the federal govt and state govt.

He is a socialist. Believes in significant wealth redistribution, and control of markets in the form of smothering regulation in national hands.

Just put the two together: nationalism and socialism... he's a national socialist.

Obama is the architect of this spending, and he opens his presser saying we have to live within our means. This is like Col. Sanders saying, ‘We gotta stop killing chickens!’”

“One of the reasons for this press conference, I think, was to try to cover up Obama’s incompetence in foreign affairs with his incompetence in economics. With him, we have incompetence on display, whatever the subject matter.”

“When the evidence is clear that your way doesn’t work and yet you keep doubling down on your way, what does it say? Does it say that you’re stupid, naive, ignorant, and unaware, or does it say that you are an arrogant, egotistical guy?”

“We’ve had two years of Obamaism, and we know that none of it works. Point-blank, let me ask you a question: What has Obama done for you?”

“The bottom line is that oil is not the energy source of the past. It is the energy source of the present and it is the energy source of the future, and there’s nothing that Obama can do to change that.”

“It’s insulting to my intelligence to have this thing — this commodity, oil — attacked as some form of evil by a bunch of know-nothing, do-nothing, never-got-their-hands-dirty little lame leftists who live in a theoretical utopia.”

“Obama said, ‘You can’t maintain power through coercion. There has to be consent.’ Tell that to the Kims. Tell that to the ChiComs. Tell that to Fidel Castro. Tell that to Stalin. Tell that to Lenin. Tell that to Hitler.”

“Big Bird is a freaking puppet, for crying out loud!”

“Jean Kennedy Smith just received the Medal of Freedom at the White House, and she was introduced this way: ‘Jean Kennedy Smith, the eighth of nine children of Joe and Rose Kennedy, joined the family business to improve the lives of American people.’ I didn’t know that was the Kennedy family business.”

“My mother was exactly right: I do like pepper now.”

If the average school teacher has to pay 12.8% of there health care insurance. And that averages to about $200 a month. Then they have a cadillac insurance plan. Cadillac insurance plans run around $26,000 a year per family. Around $8600 per person.

Examples: Linda is an elementary school teacher. Although she only makes $35,000 per year she has amazing health insurance. She recently had to go to the emergency room and only had a $50 co-pay. From: http://personalinsure.about.com/od/insurancetermsglossary/g/cadillachealthinsurance.htm

I’m fine with BO using his political BS so to speak and trying to pull all the Union scum together, busing folks in etc., s long as Gov Walker sticks to his guns and the state Republicans don’t back down and make no concessions.

If the bill passes then this will be a huge defeat and slap in the face to BO, what he represents and his Union scum will hopefully dissolve in defeat.

Obama fights for his allies and his beliefs.

When he fights, he fights to win, and by win, I mean, crush the GOP.

What can we learn from this?

Because the GOP does not oppose Obama in the way he opposes them.

Obama, for all his defects, knows what he wants and fights to get it.

Who is there in the GOP leadership that you can say that about?

I honestly believe that Obama could murder someone on national television, and black voters would scream “racism” if he were arrested for it. At the same time, most Republicans would refuse to take action to impeach because of the backlash. They would say things like “let the voters decide.”

That’s why nobody wants to touch the eligibility issue, and why no matter what he does, he will never ber impeached.

Whether it is leaches or leeches, either way, you are correct.

A leach line is the drainage line that feeds off of a septic tank. It absorbs the remaining foul output of the tank and leaches it into the surrounding soil.

A leech in internet speak is someone that pull information, something of value, substance from something else and contributes nothing in return.

Yes, these people are Leaches and Leeches.

One thing that is not often mentioned is that many Wisconsin teachers get their health insurance via a no-bid situation THROUGH THEIR UNION - that's right - the union is in the business of providing health insurance coverage.

And not just any coverage - it's way more lavish and pricey than comparable plans. Again, it's another way to launder money to the unions, and THAT is why they are screaming.

They could bring their health care costs (and by association, their contributions) down merely by seeking quotes from other insurance plans.

Its called the RinoCrat Oligarchy. There is really little to no true opposition to Barry within the DC Beltway. Anything he does, ultimately accrues power to ALL who are there-and periodically they share the toys. That's what they call an “election”.

Doctor who gave out medical notes draws scrutiny Posted: Feb 20, 2011 2:57 PM CST Updated: Feb 20, 2011 3:00

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Reports that a Madison doctor handed out medical excuse notes to hundreds of protesters at the Capitol this weekend have prompted investigations from the doctor's employer.

Fifty-9-year-old Lou Sanner of Madison practices family medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He was outside the Capitol on Saturday as tens of thousands of protesters rallied against an anti-union bill.

Critics say handing out notes without thorough examinations constitutes fraud.

"Endorsement by the AMA speeds the way for the president to accomplish one of his signature campaign promises

America’s largest and most powerful doctors group has endorsed Barack Obama’s massive overhaul of the US healthcare system, removing a substantial hurdle to legislation that Democrats hope will extend health coverage to most of the estimated 46 million Americans who currently lack it."

Want the Union grabbers defeated; but do not want at all; the President stepping in the muck albeit; it is his MO. Too bad, it is not quicksand.

Think there should be investigations and that Obama should answer some questions! Be challenged! This is truly outrageous, not to mention another 'danger' zone he drags our country into.

This Party emboldened, just as enemies elsewhere are emboldened by this President. Of course, with their Constituency; they never need to worry.

And they count on succeeding; because they count on, never having to worry about ours.

Agree. If it happened; Obama would think the same as he did, post 9/11. Just more 'chickens. ..coming home'; and just an MO, for downsizing our Country. It would also; be a calamity of such huge proportions; Obama could certainly find a way to make it work. . .longtime; for him.

Actually believe that Obama would be OK with such; as long as it was not Chicago.

OTOH. . .maybe he has no favorites, whatsoever - in America, that is.

I think that Obama has definitely committed some impeachable offenses, like subborning an illegal teacher strike in the state of Wisconsin, but I don’t want him impeached. I want him publicly censored and his actions condemned, but I don’t want him impeached. It would take too much time and effort and would just solidify his base.

We should add to the censor, defying the court ruling on drilling ban in the Gulf.

I am glad you have a sense of humor about it.

My attitude is to have a misspelling on me.

But my daughter and new daughter-in-law are both English majors, so they cut me no slack on mis-spellings.

My hope is that the true integrity of thought from each of us that contribute will also show up in well executed sentences.

Eye cud maik it slopy, butt wood U kontinu 2 red

I know some of us truly struggle with spelling and grammar, so I do want everyone to have a lot of slack.

I would hope that visitors to this forum will appreciate that those that contribute have something worth reading.

Again, I do appreciate the sense of humor and respect for each other that I witness each day here.

I just wish we had an edit function. Many of us have posted, only to post again a correction and sometimes a request for a moderator to quickly repair something that truly is so bad.

Have Fun!!
